REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SHIP WASPHIDE
- unlike a lot of my rarepairs, wasp and ironhide ACTUALLY INTERACT IN CANON AND ARE CANONICALLY FRIENDS! no loopholes or weird AUs to get these two to meet one another, they already have!
- in nearly every appearance one of them has in autoboot camp, the other is always there..... they are always by each other's side which is 1. adorable and 2. just more canonic proof that these boys are in love
EVEN WHILE IN A COMBAT SIMULATION, THEY STAY RIGHT AT EACH OTHER'S SIDE AND I 🥺
- there is So Much Potential for interesting headcanons abt how these twos dynamic would work! my favorite of which being that ironhide gets to see the soft side of wasp that no one else does uwu
- as much as there is fluff potential, there is also so much angst potential because of wasp's conviction. ive discussed this before in a post i made two years ago and a ironhide-centric fic i wrote, but man is there still so much untapped potential here!
- as much as im passionate about them as a pairing, wasp and ironhide are also very VERY interesting and underrated characters on their own that deserve attention individually! but of course, its sometimes more fun to put your two underrated favs together and get to explore them at the same time uwu
