“Hey what are you nerds doing out here in the dungeon? I thought you had somewhere kinda important to be soon.” 

“She’s right Theebee, I know you’re nervous but the sooner you do it the better. You don’t want to leave this shit for launch day. It’ll make shit so much more awkward for all of us.” 

“You probably shouldn’t sit on that, dad would have a fit if he knew.” 

“I can only hope. Maybe he’ll finally take it home to his own damn house.” 

“Is.. is he here?” 

“Yeah.. he heard you came home a couple days ago and I guess couldn’t resist the excuse. Did you really tell him off? He sounded pissed when talking to mom on the phone.” 

“Alright now how do you feel?” 

“I.. I am not sure mother....oh! What is this?! This.. wow!” 

“I was able to get the parts for the solar chip. It was kind of expensive but now you can come hike with me without worrying about your cells drying out.”

“Now... what are YOU still doing here?”

“Can’t I talk to my daughter for a moment before you kick my ass to the curb?”
