Calia’s NowhereAU design. They’re a Natural Borne who specializes in training and manipulating feral petpets. They are eternally curious about old Neopia.  I love this AU I’m already in too deep. 

By habits from my own AU I’m calling the Faerie culture Fae culture and sort of referencing my own understanding of the Faerie presence in Neopia. 

So for my pets I guess we’ve got: 1. Shows “I accidentally fell out of the equivalent of the neopets roman empire” the silver/pirate draik 2. Dominante “I am a sentient sponge from another dimension what is this” the sponge kiko 3. Calia “I love suffering and Im hoarding petpets” the darigan kyrie 4. Osiphia “I’m literally rotting flesh with a rock inside” the transparent skieth Shows fell out of a timeline in older Neopia; think old site maps, still floating faerie land, the height of the Fae enlightenment perhaps. She exists in a timeline without any sign of trouble with the Fae. Can’t read, only knows old Fae script. More terrified than angry, but will kill if provoked. Snooty, wants to find the ‘gods of these people’; soon to find out there are no gods among Neopians anymore. I think she’ll want to live in the Blockade. Got her name because no one could pronounce her name so they just kept saying she was putting on a show, and she just kept it as her name. Prudish, tells people to use their filters alot (ie: watch your tongue). 

Dominante has a really established character in my own neopets AU in Boreas, but I love suffering so I’m throwing her in here to see her suffering. She’s definitely someone from the rift; is super confused by this timeline. She is distressed, being a non-organic, enchanted sentient being, in a world with a lot of robots which don’t exist in her world. She’s small enough to hide out, doesn’t have a settlement yet. Hangs out with Calia because Calia is fascinated with her existence. She’s not an elemental so she tends to have trouble relating to other beings in her situation. She’s terrified of Fae and Fae lore. 

Calia (born_to_adopt8) was literally made for this world I’m so excited. Calia is a Natural Borne, because if you have born in your petname you gotta. She is still compulsively obsessed with preserving the natural life of Neopia; she was given a book left by her ancestors documenting the species of life in the world. It was how she learned to read. Calia is constantly checking and researching what’s left, what’s edible, and what’s useful. She has strange control over petpets and uses them to her advantage, a la beast master style. Hangs out in caves and mines alot. Hoards gross food ingredients.

Isaac doesn’t exist in Nowhere but his mind kinda does. When he talks he sounds like he’s preaching some made-up gospel but he’s just describing the things he saw that leads to the End & the formation of Nowhere. He’s just trying to warn people really, sometimes through example, mostly through fire.
