Shahin strongly feels that it is only appropriate for him to greet and get to know the commissary a bit. As proper he can be though, that does not stop his occasional mischievous streaks. He found out the guy's name is Aleks Rosa, and as a "friendly" first-meeting gift, took it upon himself to help Aleks cool off in the summer heat using Chattering Teeth.

Whilst talking to Aleks, Shahin found himself glancing at Aleks' lips and wonders what it's like to kiss it for the first time. But he simply places that thought at the back of his mind. There was an odd sense of companionship when they found out they were from the same high school, and Shahin congratulated Aleks upon finding out Aleks graduated the Sims University with a Degree in Physical Education. Out of nowhere, Aleks insulted him for not having a Degree. Yikes, and this is the guy he thought of kissing? He supposes besides a school for the children he'll need the money to build a university. As retaliation for the rudeness, Shahin played another fairy trick on him called Hot Head.

After that first encounter, they mostly get on along well enough. There were no harvestables that he may sell nor eat at Nouseva. Thank god there is a lake at the middle of it though, and Shahin makes do for awhile simply fishing and selling it to Aleks before finding out that Nouseva is abundant with Mushrooms. After that, he rarely fishes except when he couldn't find any mushrooms. He's not really keen on making the fish here extinct just so he can get money. He slept on the lounge chair located in Wallace Shore until he was able to accrue enough money for a Fairy Bungalow. There certainly indeed exists advantages to being a fairy, he thinks.

The days go by almost ritualistically. He would spend his morning and afternoon foraging mushrooms and seeds- and any extra time was spent fishing (which thankfully is not often). When all is done, he goes to Aleks, consigns everything (except the seeds... maybe he'll hold onto those) and spends the rest of the day hanging out with Aleks until he is tired enough. At one point, he joked flirtatiously with Aleks and was met with positive reception. Shahin kept pushing their friendship boundary day-by-day until finally their lips met. They even went on a date the next night from the romance high. They competed in a pie-eating contest, which Aleks won. If you can see the picture of him striding with pride- you know what happened after the date. Face-full-of-pie and all, he walked out of the bathroom a happier man than before.

After a few days, he was about to start his usual routine of mushroom-hunting until he received an envelope with a cheque inside and a letter. The letters states that his great grandaunt passed away and Shahin were to inherit 42k from her. Though saddened by the passing, Shahin thanked her beautiful soul for giving him the money- as this means he can finally starts to build the house that the future children shall need. That afternoon, Shahin went to Aleks to consign some metals he found whilst hiking and asked his help to cash in the cheque. That day, Shahin also found out Aleks have a child named Brook. Apparently Shahin never saw her since she's a total homebody. Education-wise, Aleks have been home schooling her. This made Shahin more motivated to build a school for the children as quickly as possible.

Shahin have always had an affinity to be "elegant", which from his view is simply being an upstanding person- but doing so effortlessly. He is Proper to a fault, and his tendency to go out of his way to brighten the commissary's day hints that he is also a Good person. Years spent sharpening his conversational skills were not wasted as nowadays it is his Charismatic side that gets people to listen to him regardless of his Dramatic antics. But words can only do so much, so Shahin is also a Perfectionist when it comes to everything he does.

As soon as he blew out the candles to shift into a Young Adult, he found himself as a fairy thanks to the pranks of his peer. In hindsight he does not mind this one bit. At least it'll give him more time to build up the town, he supposes.
