[ whisper ]: for your muse to whisper something into my muses ear
SEND REVERSE FOR MY MUSE TO DO THE ACTION TO YOUR MUSE
The party was stifling, at least Eddie thought so. It was supposed to be a bunch of cool people who hung out at the Hideout and made music, but they turned out to be pretentious assholes passing judgment on Eddie and his friends for almost every interest they held or comment they made. They had little to no interest in talking about Corroded Coffin or D&D or even the goings on at the Hideout, so Eddie found himself drifting out of the conversation, into a whole other sphere in his mind.
Never had he wanted to leave a party so bad in his life.
While the others were having a circle jerk about themselves, Eddie nursed an ever warming beer that he was foolishly keeping between his thighs. He heard the creak of motion in her chair before he felt her breath against his ear, her words making his hair tickle the shell of it.
It wasn’t like she was desperate or in trouble, but Eddie had never been more willing to play a knight in shining armor in his life. He leaned into it, making a play on her whispered words.
“Do you think you’re gonna vom?” He asked, fake concern highlighting his face. He was born for drama of performance. “Let me take you home. Maybe it was that ceviche from the diner. I told you not to trust it.”
