naw haha it's for prepro! My second pitch is called "Fool's Journey" and deals with two people that were kidnapped and wake up int his strange facility with bracelet/tags/sOMETHING that designates one as "0 - The Fool" and the other one as "13 - Death". The Fool wakes up in a locked room while Death's is unlocked and has access to a hallway leading to other places of the facility. They have communicators that allow them to talk to each other. Additionally, Fool can see Death from a console in his room-- I was thinking he has access to different cameras in the facility, and through solving various puzzles with Death, unlocks different upgrades for the console. So it's essentially first person...you play as Fool, as you communicate with Death and the environment outside your room via the console/communicator.
I honestly want it to be like LifeLine in which you give the character actual voice commands to move around, explore the environment, and fight-- but I'm unsure if the faculty will be down with that...

#1 important is isolation, I think! you want them to be in a place where the police aren’t going to be able to help them. I like the idea of an abandoned underground military base just bc I think you can get a lot of creepy imagery out of it — esp bc underground implies that it can’t be above ground for some reason; i.e., it’s a bomb shelter, or they’re testing dangerous things that they don’t want to risk releasing to the general public so I think that’s a cool setting w/ potential!!
ahhh thanks Jade! I'm feeling better about this then! If I can get away with having my two main environments consist of creepy rooms (maybe an actual confinement room or a torture room?) then I'll have really interesting assets to make for it!
