Thankfully her heart is not completely shattered, her relationship with Adam has become secretly exclusive. She will constantly lie to her family in order to sneak a few moments alone with Adam. 

They go on dates together. 

go on evening walks in the park. 

and stay up late at night talking on the phone. 

Robin feels like she might even be in love and its completely taking her mind off her mother. 

Speaking of mothers, Sarah has become a full house wife, after having the triplets she knew she couldnt keep working at her job. Shes got a family of six to take care of.

Thankfully for a couple hours out of the day she gets a moment to herself and chip is happily by her side helping her relax. also he gets good pets as well.

Its now harvestfest in the maple household and Michael can’t help but smile when he looks at his family all seated at the table. He feels like the wounds of his past have finally healed. 

As harvestfest comes to a close, Michael goes over and gives chip a pet on the head. 

Michael: thanks for always being with me buddy. 

on one cold winter day, Sarah couldn’t find chip and when she went outside she found him laying on the ground. When she called out to him he didn’t move. 

Chip had passed away from old age, everyone was visually upset. expect for Michael who didn’t show any emotion instead he just comforted his kids and let them know that this is what happens in the world. After the kids had gone to bed, Sarah came up into their room where she found Michael crying. She wrapped her arms around him and held him. 

Sarah: its going to be ok. 

Micheal honestly is kind of glad that Robin just wanders off from time to time, because he’s spends most of his energy on the troublesome triplets. Mainly Roy and Ryan. Once again he is getting a phone call from the school telling him about something they have done, this time however Roy and Rogan have gotten into a physical fight and the school is demanding that he come right now to discuss the out control behavior of his kids. 

Michael loves his kids, but sometimes he wishes that he didn’t have triplets, but he doesn’t dare say that out loud. one time he came close to saying it and Sarah gave him a death glare. Every-time they discuss Roy and Ryan, it starts an argument. Something needs to be done because these little roses are putting thorns in the sides of the family. 

As Michael is bringing home Rogan and Roy back from school, he’s locking up the car when he hears the two start to get into another fight. 

Quickly he breaks it up grabbing the two by their collars. 

Michael: Roy you are grounded.

Roy: What!? Rogan started it!

Michael: not only are you grounded, but you and Ryan will be joining the scouts starting Monday! 

Roy: what! how is that even fair! the scouts are lame! 

Michael: I dont want to hear it Roy! 

Rogan: ha! thats what you get

Michael: you are grounded too Rogan. 

Rogan shuts his mouth looking down at the ground and Roy looks away from Michael in full on pout. Michael sighs. 

Michael: Listen you two are brothers like it or not. You might be different and not get along, but you two will always be brothers and brothers look out for each other. Don’t let a fight ruin your relationship because you can never know what will happen tomorrow. 

the boys didn’t say anything just pushed past their dad going into the house. Michael lets out another sigh, running his hand through his mint green hair. He didn’t want his kids making the same mistakes he did with his own brother, but deep down he knew that Roy and Rogan were not the same as Mark and him.

Meanwhile the other troublemaker was mixing up trouble in the kitchen.  

Ryan: hey Robin, do you ever wonder what happened to your mom

Robin: what do you mean? 

Ryan: well if dad won’t tell you maybe something bad really happened that he is keeping a secret from you. what if you are secretly an alien? 

Robin: of course not, I’m a human. 

Robin felt slightly nervous, though she was sure she wasn’t an alien. She still felt that Ryan words made a little sense. Why won’t her dad tell her about her mom? shes been asking that question all her life. 

Maybe it was time to find out, Robin went into the living room where everyone was at. 

Robin: Dad I need to talk to you

Michael: sure Robin what is it?

Robin: I need to talk to you alone. 

Rogan caught the look of surprise on Michael face and the slight sign of nervousness. He looked at Robin a little worried about what they could be talking about. 

Sarah gave Michael’s shoulder a small squeeze before she took the boys out of the room. Robin came over and sat next to Michael. 

Robin: dad I think I’m old enough now to know the truth about my mom. 

Michael: Robin, I don’t think this is the time for that talk. 

Robin: then when will it be the time dad? I’m seventeen! 

Michael’s thoughts raced in his head, he didn’t want her to know the truth. What if she went out looking for Ashley? he hadn’t spoken to her since the day Robin was born. He knew he couldn’t run from it anymore, he had to tell her something and in that moment he lied. 

Michael: what I’m about to tell you is going to be hard to hear. 

Michael: your mother, she died giving birth to you. 

once the words left Michael mouth he instantly regretted it, the look of pain in Robin’s eyes nearly broke his heart. 

Robin: why didn’t you tell me sooner.

Michael: I didn’t know how to Robin. 

Michael reached out to hold her and she moved away from him. 

Michael: Robin..

Robin: I just need sometime.

Michael: ok. I’ll give you space. 

Once Michael left, Robin took out her phone and texted the only person she wanted to see in that moment. 

Robin went to the nearby park and waited, once he got there she wasted no time running straight into his arms. 

Adam: Robin what’s the matter? 

Robin slowly explained everything, keeping a tight hold on Adam. He returned the embrace not letting her go as she talked. 

after she was finished she looked up at him. 

Robin: you are the only person I want to be with right now. 

Adam looked at her and rubbed his finger across her face to dry it. 

she rested her hand over his and the two leaned in closer. 

Maybe they weren’t just friends after all. 

It’s all about summer fun in this household 

though since the sims of this generation have only really experienced a enteral summer you think they be over it by now, but nope. its all about BBQ! vegetarian safe BBQ of course. 

Playing in the water. 

and just much needed relaxing. 

Until someone decides to throw a water balloon and the war is on!

and in this corner we have little birdy and chocolate chip against the wacky scientist known as Dad. 

Oh! it looks like mama bear has entered the the battle.

Things are getting real and did you honestly think that Michael would go easy against his pregnant wife?

Of course not, but don’t worry she's out for revenge.

Oh! Right to the face. 

everything is all fun and games until its not. All the excitement has got Sarah feeling a bit strange. 

and then something breaks that is not a water balloon. 

Sarah has gone into Labor! 

Michael practically is tripping over himself to get things in the car and to get everyone ready. He almost drives off without Robin, but they circled back! 

Once at the hospital Sarah gets taken in right away and the Doctor informs them that she will have to have a Emergency C-Section! 

Michael can only sit in the waiting room a bundle of nerves as he waits for news on his wife. He makes a small plea to his brother to let them get through this. 

Meanwhile Sarah is no less nervous. 

its hard to not only be in labor, but to have an emergency birth? 

The Maples can only hope. 

Thankfully a few hours later they have one healthy screaming boy. Named Roy Maple.

and a girl named Ryan Maple. 

Also oh yeah one more boy named Rogan Maple. 

Thats right! three healthy babies. The Maple Triplets. 

Thanks for reading chapter 12, but wait this chapter is not over. So I did not spend alot of time with the triplets as toddlers since I didn’t really have any story to tell with them all that much and I really don’t have enough material to make a whole chapter, soI wanted to kind of do a mini chapter and to make up for the fact that I didn’t spend alot of time with them as toddlers. I will also be announcing the Rose generation sim!!!! take your guess now. will it be Robin the oldest? or one of the triplets? or will I throw in a twist! keep reading!!!

Chapter 12.5 introduction to the triplets

I want to start off by saying that everything that has to do with the triplets was not planned at all. the way they look and the way they act was completely different from what I had planned, it was all fated by the game itself which in the time I have played the sims, I have never had sims like these triplets act with so much individual personality. 

From the beginning I had always envisioned Michael having four kids. Robin who he raised as a single parent for a good portion of her life, a set of twins and another child. as the story progressed I decided to make the twins triplets because I had a good storyline for them. Of course that all went out the window when the triplets were actually born and aged up.

Rogan Maple

 First of all Rogan was completely individual in the way he looks and he doesn’t favor the other two at all. In fact sometimes I forget they are triplets because Rogan just doesn’t look like Roy and Ryan. 

He favors his dad with his blonde hair and he has a really sweet personality. He does not get along with Roy or Ryan. they pretty much bully him all the time. (again I did not control this) Roy even bit Rogan. 

and of course he cried. he is such a sweet boy. and honestly I feel like he might have a good bound with the sim of the yellow generation (of course once Michael passes away and my heart breaks cause I don’t want to lose my mint boy, but its the way of the world.) so that means Rogan will not be our rose sim. This boy is far too sweet to have the traits of a rose sim. 

Roy Maple

Right away this boy has always been a hot head to go with his natural dark red hair. (I set his toddler trait to wild not fussy.) 

He bullies Rogan all the time, and is honestly just a little mean to everyone. refusing to listen to anything his parents say, throwing temper tantrums when he doesn’t get his way and always causing trouble. 

and his powers only increase when he is with his sister Ryan!

Ryan Maple

Ryan is like the mastermind of them all, she also aged up with natural dark red hair.

she loves creating plans and letting her brothers take the fall. (her trait is also wild). I mean look at that smug face. I mean chip can’t even handle it. poor Rogan looks so scared right now haha. like help me from these little red devils please!

if Roy is a storm than Ryan makes him a freakin hurricane! Because these two cause trouble all the time. 

Well you have been introduced to the triplets have any guesses yet who is the next generation sim? You might be thinking its Robin shes got a whole story with the fact that she never knew her mom and honestly you would have been right, but I have always felt that Robin was never any of the traits of the rose sim and even tho I had planned for her to be it, I was never happy over it. Her story is far from over, but she will not be the Rose sim

so that only leaves Roy and Ryan right? so lets just look over the rules of the rose generation. 

Traits: Hot Headed, Snob, Romantic

Aspiration: Serial Romantic

Career: Politician

Rules:

Have only one child

Master the politician career and complete Serial Romantic aspiration

Master charisma skill

Leave someone at the alter (an interaction available during a wedding)

Get married for the first time as an elder

After looking over these rules. there is no rule stating that I can’t have two sims be the rose generation! thats right! Roy and Ryan will be my rose sims. and the maple series will be called Not So Maple: Roses With Thorns. 

Did you really think there wasn’t going to be a twist? hehe

Michael sat down the box of kitchen plates on the counter in their new kitchen. He looked out the window and sighed seeing Robin outside alone sitting on the the newly built swing set. 

Sarah came up behind him and rubbed his shoulder. 

Sarah: she will be ok, just give her time to adjust. 

Michael: I know, I just hope she can make a friend soon. 

The next day a moving truck pulled up in front of the house across the street and Robin went outside to check it out. When she stepped out onto the street she felt something ram right into her knocking her to the ground

Young boy: watch it!

Robin got up brushing herself off.

Robin: you ran into me!

Woman’s voice: Adam? where did you go?

Robin heard the voice come from across the street and she saw a pretty lady with long brown curly hair. The boy looked back and forth than grabbed Robin’s hand. 

Boy: follow me! 

Robin: wait what?!

The boy lead her to a nearby park. 

Robin: let go of me!

she forced him to release his grip on her. the boy looked at her and smiled awkwardly 

Boy: sorry. I’m just having a hard time, I just moved here today because my mom got relocated for work. I had to leave all my friends behind and I’m just so mad. I don’t want to be around her right now.

Robin sighed: I know the feeling I just moved here yesterday, my dad got relocated too. My step mom is also going to have a baby soon and I don’t know how to feel about it. 

The boy looked at her and then smiled outstretching his hand. 

Boy: I’m Adam. Whats your name? 

Robin: it’s Robin. 

Adam: How about we hang out here and play for a bit? 

Robin: Ok! 

As Robin got to know Adam a little bit better, she began to think that maybe moving wasn’t so bad after all. 

Robin: is he home yet?

she asked Sarah for the thousand time that hour. She was so excited to tell her dad about the boy across the street. 

Sarah: not yet, he’ll be here soon. 

Robin sighed going up the stairs. A few minutes later Michael came home from work. He gave Sarah a kiss on the cheek 

Sarah: how was work? 

Michael: it was alright. its mainly people I already know, but there are some new faces. 

Michael kneeled down and rested his hands on Sarah’s stomach 

Michael: and how is this one doing.

Sarah: restless as always. I feel like I have a million tiny fists punching me all the time. 

Michael: that just means they are healthy. How’s Robin?

Sarah: shes fine, met a boy who lives across the street and thats all she can talk about. Apparently the boy’s mom works at the same place you do, she came over and asked if you would like to come over with Robin to discuss research. 

Robin: can we! can we dad!?

Michael: woe where did you come from? 

Robin: doesn’t matter. so can we go pleeasseee?

Michael: alright alright, let me get changed. 

Robin: yay!

Michael and Robin headed across the street to the small house on the corner. 

He knocked on the door. a few short moments later Adam let them in.

Adam: my mom is just finishing up some stuff, but she said you can wait in the living room. 

Adam grabbed Robin hand 

Adam: come on my mom brought home this cool crystal and I want to show you.

Robin: ok! 

Michael felt slightly nervous seeing Robin getting so comfortable with a boy, he could only hope that she only saw him as a friend and nothing more. He was so not ready for her to even think about dating. 

Michael waited about ten minutes before he heard the footsteps coming into the living room

Woman: sorry about the wait I just had things to finish up.

Michael looked up and his face paled

Michael: no way. no. no no no no. 

the woman looked at him and smirked. 

Zoe: well hello Michael. 

It all started when Michael and Sarah got back from their honeymoon. Anita, Michael boss and ex girlfriend called him into her  office with some offsetting news. 

Anita: I know you just got back today, but somethings within the company are changing. I’m afraid that we are being relocated to Newcrest. 

Michael: What?! what do you mean relocated?!

Anita: it wont be so bad, the town is under development and we will be able to do a-lot of good research.

Michael: you want me to move my whole family to a town in development! 

Anita: Michael we don’t have a choice! it’s either relocate or lose your job! I’ll give you a week to decide.

Michael went home feeling rather conflicted, he could probably find another job here in Willow Creek. they would still probably have to move into a smaller house. 

Sarah: Michael?

At least Robin could still stay in the same school and keep her friends. 

Sarah: Micheal??

Sarah could keep her job. 

Sarah: Michael!!!

Michael: What?! 

Sarah: I have something important to tell you. 

Sarah: I’m pregnant. 

Michael sat there in shock.

Sarah: Micheal? 

all the things he had been struggling with finally made sense, and he knew what he had to do. He got up peppering Sarah’s face in kisses. 

Sarah: I take it you’re happy?

Michael: of course I’m happy, but now I have something important to tell you. 

After discussing things over with Sarah, they decided that the best course of option was to sell the house and relocate to Newcrest. With a new baby on the way, Michael wanted to make sure that his family was supported. There was just one more problem, telling Robin. 

Sarah: Robin we have something we need to tell you. 

Sarah: I’m pregnant, you’re going to be a big sister. 

Michael: also we are moving. 

Sarah: Michael!

Robing: What!? we are moving!? 

Michael: we have to move because of my job, I’m being relocated. 

Robin: you could find another job!

Michael: I thought about it Robin, but this new job will be able to support us and we need the money with a new baby on the way.

Robin: so its the baby’s fault!

Michael: it’s nobody’s fault!

Robin: I hate this! I don’t want a new sibling and I don’t want to move!

Robin grabbed her jacket running outside. 

Michael: Robin! 

Micheal quickly grabbed his jacket going outside after her, the only problem was once he got outside the storm that had been raging all day had gotten stronger since the sun went down. It made it almost impossible to see anything. 

Michael: Robin!!

he shouted out to her raising his voice over the thunder. 

after searching for 30 minutes he finally found her hiding in the playground pirate ship at the park. When Robin saw him, relief rushed over her and she quickly ran towards him. However she stopped short when she saw the furious look on Michael’s face. 

Robin: Dad..I’m sorry. 

Michael kneeled down and pulled her into his arms. she started crying burying her face in her dad’s shoulder. 

Michael: don’t scare me like that ever again.

After getting home and drying off, Michael sat on the couch with Robin. 

Michael: I know you’re upset and things have changed a lot lately, but I promise you that everything will work out.

Robin: how? I’m losing my friends and I’m losing you. 

Michael: why do you think you are losing me? 

Robin: because I won’t be your only kid anymore. 

Michael: you aren’t losing me. yes there will be a new baby, but you will always be my first baby.

Robin: I’m not a baby!

Michael: you will always be my baby. 

In the blink of a eye its the wedding, and all of their friends have come to celebrate. 

The Autumns, oh those girls are already scheming about tasting that wedding cake. 

The goths, isn’t mister goth looking fresh? 

And of course Michael’s best friend Jace. 

Mrs. Bella Goth caught this cute exchange on camera. Who says bros cant be happy for bros. (god damn walls.)

And here we have Future Mrs.Maple getting ready for her wedding. 

She’s so pretty (I know I already showed this image, but shes pretty D:<) 

and as the wedding starts and she walks down that isle. Everyone can see the look of pure love in her eyes as she looks at Michael and he looks at her. 

And with a kiss these two are now officially married! (no one is happier than me I swear, I love these two together.) 

It’s time to cut the cake, Michael promised that he would not smush cake in Sarah face even tho the temptation is was real. 

That didn’t stop her from doing it to him though. She made no promises.

Yep they are meant to be.

Thanks for reading chapter 9, I’m so emotional my mint boy is all grown up and married. Ah! my heart can’t take it. Sadly we are nearing the end of this generation, I’m thinking about maybe 5 to 7 more chapters left before we move onto the rose generation. Also I realized something while playing recently that some how or another all my sims 4 graphics were lowered. I for the longest time couldn’t understand why things seemed pixelated. Till I went into my settings today and saw that my graphics were like set on low! like what? so now they are turned up again and hopefully that will produce better images!
