Lotor and Narti
It is kind of sad to see Narti go, of Lotor’s team she was the most mysterious and had a very powerful talent. The other members of Lotor’s team did take the loss hard, and It had to have been a hard decision to make. There is something that makes me feel like there’s more to the story.
In the Defender of the Universe series Prince Lotor had a harem that was most likely changed in Legendary Defender to his all female half-Galra generals, many others bring this fact up when discussing parallels. However, one that I haven’t seen many bring up is that Lotor also had a Fiancée in VDotU named Merla, and well, one of her abilities is to enter people's minds for a short time and is usually accompanied by a pet that rides her shoulder. Maybe just coincidence but they are similarities between Narti and Merla.
So, what if Narti is Legendary Defender’s Merla? Consider why Narti would have Kova, which belonged to Haggar originally, Haggar at one time had to at least been close with Narti to give her the cat, but even when Haggar was still Honerva, she only gave a gift as a customary gesture (like an engagement present). This could also be the reason Lotor chooses her to accompany him on that last encounter with his mother. If Narti even has a little romantic attachment to Lotor, then that makes her death very heartbreaking. I would hope to see more implications of her death in the next season.
