     it’s normal in her world for her to hide when a stranger had made their appearance. After the cathedral was done holding masses and meetings for the day , she did make herself known though. Known to the walls and the ceilings and the pews at least. To no one else. How lonely it got. But it seemed like this particular night , someone had started to open the doors to her home to seek shelter ( from the weather outside she thinks ;; or maybe they were just looking for a place to ease their mind.

there isn’t enough time for her to hide anywhere else ;; she decides to take shelter by ducking behind one of the pews.

it's the only word that pops into dean's head the moment his brother voices the sentiment, and it doesn't take him long to connect the dots between the way they'd not only take a bullet for each other, but do it without thought, without hesitation. it should scare him, a little bit, if they were... ya know... normal in any sense of the word. he shouldn't have grown up believing the only thing he was good for was taking care of Sammy, but that right there? that warmth in his chest that feels a little like a fist around his heart? that makes it worth it.
