Ladies and Gentlemen: the best Black Series 6“ figure ever created. Legends or not, Jaina Solo is the daughter of Han Solo, being born around the time while the events of the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn occur. No she’s not Kylo‘s sister. Jeez, this Legends/Canon stuff is confusing. Anyhow, this 6“ Black Series figure’s articulation is beyond any expectations I had. She can easily hold her weapons in both hands and still move them around. This allows for very natural posing, which I personally find is one of the most satisfying features of modern action figures, and it is something in which the Black Series wasn’t so particularly good in so far, as you rarely could make a figure hold their blaster or lightsaber in both hands while having them look natural still. Jaina is quite tall and yet has tiny feet. Yes that sounds exciting, doesn’t it, but also is a bummer, because she‘s prone to fall over way too easily. I wasn’t able so far to remove the lightsaber from its hilt (I’ve become cautious because I managed to break Ben Kenobi‘s lightsaber that way right after unpacking) but I can live with that, because her posability compensates for any flaws she might bring along with her (like tiny feet and lightsabers that don’t go off).
