With Ye Shunguang rerunning currently for 3.0, let’s talk about the potential link between Ye Shunguang and Lady Sunbringer, and how Ye Shunguang avenged Lady Sunbringer in a poetic karma type of way.

In 2.5, we learned from Lockspring that the OG Lady Sunbringer was forced to flee into Lemnian Hollow after being betrayed, and that during her escape, she had her powers stolen by the Creator after confronting Them in the Hollow. Many years later, the Creator then gave her stolen powers to one of Their Messengers to have Them merge with Sarah and created the Primordial Nightmare Boss.

The same Boss that Ye Shunguang defeats in 2.5.

This is important to remember because there is a potential link between Lady Sunbringer and Ye Shunguang. The potential link being Banyue.

During Banyue’s EP video, there were shots of a mysterious cloaked figure. This mysterious person wore a cloak with the Marcel Group logo and had horns. The same horn style as either Eldreda or Lindverne Sunbringer.

Now, we don't know when the OG Lady Sunbringer split herself into three people, but considering the lore with Lady Sunbringer and Lemnian Hollow, it wouldn't be far-fetched to think that if this was post-Sunbringer split, either Eldreda or Lindverne might have gone back to visit Lemnian Hollow for a rematch with the Creator to get back their powers, but instead was met with Banyue's broken body there.

She probably fixed Banyue, then let him be found by Ning Qian's older sister, who led him to the mining town where the Ye Family was based. Banyue and the Ye Family became close friends. Lemnian Hollow disaster happens, and the Ye parents beg Banyue to save Shiyuan and Shunguang. Banyue saved the two and led them to Yunkui Summit, where the Ye Siblings became disciples.

Then, Shunguang got lured into becoming the new Qingming Sword's master; Shiyuan became obsessed with figuring out how to undo the curse of the Sword; the Ye Siblings team up with Phaethon to stop the Creator from destroying Waifei Peninsula and New Eridu; Shunguang defeats the Messenger (the being that used Sunbringer's stolen powers) and is hailed as the newest Void Hunter.

In conclusion, if it was Sunbringer, then Sunbringer's fixing of Banyue led Shunguang to give the Creator some poetic karma for stealing Sunbringer's powers. The Creator stole a Void Hunter's powers, and the newest Void Hunter beat up the abomination that used said stolen powers.

Now, with Roscaelifer opening up to the rest of New Eridu, and Waifei Peninsula being a part of New Eridu, would we see some representatives from Yunkui Summit at Roscaelifer? Probably, though it would most likely be Yixuan as the only representative, but if she learns that a certain Flint Workshop has created Void Hunter weapons, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she brings Shiyuan and Shunguang for back up.
