There were many things in Red’s life he has encountered that amazed him. Legendary Pokémon are no exception, as this is the case now, as the young gifted Trainer stares at the sight of the Genetic Pokémon. The only time he was this close to Mewtwo, was when he became the Champion, and was granted access to the Cerulean Caves, which helped him catch more Pokémon that he had yet to find, some being fully evolved Pokémon that were only able to evolve by trade.
He read about how Mewtwo came to be, after his time exploring the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, and wondered if he be able to find this powerful, and dangerous, Pokémon, and low and behold, he found it.
However, there was something...different about this Mewtwo than the one he encountered years ago. Was it the same one? He felt compelled to grab one of his Pokémon, but given how surprised he was that it appeared before him without warning, he didn’t want to risk provoking it, so the only thing Red could do, was stare at legendary, not saying a thing.
