I was walking home through the park today and out of nowhere, two guys started following me. They were so close to me, I had my headphones in and I could still hear their footsteps (they also didn't say a single word during the whole walk which was quite creepy). When I was out of the park, I unnecessarily crossed the street twice on purpose but they were literally sticking to my back. I was too scared to do anything and eventually they just left. When I was home, I told my mum and she said “yeah, I don't know if it's safe for girls to walk alone through the park.“ and I'm like??? It was literally a sunny sunday afternoon, am I now supposed to just stay inside at all times? What the fuck has the world come to? I hate having to be afraid of men and not being able to go anywhere alone
