Hi. Don't know if you'll see this, but I wanted to get this out of my chest: 1. Your Dessociation theory is really good (if it's not yours, I still thank you for bringing me into it). I like the idea of Dess being in Kris' mind 24/7 and haunting them. Also love the drawing of mini Dess talking to Kris, it was funny. 2. Because of that I now think Dess is the narrator (like Chara is in Undertale)
Aw jeez thank you! Idk if i'm the first to have the idea but it did pop up in my head independently of anyone else who might have had it. Who knows how actually viable it is as a reading since we literally have no solid clue how Dess speaks or thinks, though it would definitely make all of Kris's relationships way more complicated and twice as interesting (which I'm all for, to be clear. As my dearest blorbo they must suffer maximally just as much as they must experience lasting happiness).
And it's just fun. It makes me smile to think about. Ultimately it's all about having fun and more Dember is more fun.
