8. What's their favorite cocktail?

Iris isn't picky because she's not much of a drinker but she leans towards a Cosmo or Bellini when she picks!

For the boys, Izak is a Whiskey Sour guy, Emil likes a Dry Martini, and Finn is a Vodka Martini man.

3. what work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

I feel like the viscountess who vexes me will always be the fic I'm proudest of, even if it's not super polished, because it was my first long fic ever. it's my kathony engagement fic that is mostly canon compliant and was written after I watched bridgerton for the first time and couldn't get out of my head the amount of development needed between the garden proposal and the epilogue of season 2. even when I used to write in other fandoms, I never wrote a novel-length fic, not since I was a teenager. and perhaps I am also swayed by the fact that this is my most kudosed, read, bookmarked and commented on fic ever, as well as being my longest currently, so it's at the top of all my stats. I know the question said regardless of those two things, so I will also mention hunger which was totally my projection of horny panic onto one kathani sharma... that was also just really fun smut too, lol.

18. the character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

oh that's such a good question! I think it might have to be mary sharma. I remember in my engagement fic I wrote her as being harsher than on the show when she finds out that anthony compromised kate. it takes a lot of time for her to come around to the idea that anthony is to be her son-in-law, and I think it took a lot for me to write her as flawed but also justified in her concerns I suppose? it was very interesting. plus the way she is with kate, I find that whole dynamic fascinating esp when you contrast with edwina.

oh lmao speaking of which. I didn't find edwina hard to write in as much as I found she led the story (my engagement fic) more than I thought she would. I didn't expect her to attend kathony's wedding for obvious reasons, but she ended up being the one to do kate's mehndi and to swallow her hurt and pride and whatever else in being supportive of kate's decision. but unlike others in the fandom who completely vilify her for reacting the way she did to her sister being in love with her fiance... I feel like it's a lot more nuanced and complex than that. so I had a lot of trouble with the nasty comments on edwina heavy chapters - not so much in my engagement fic but in so you were eavesdropping which does feature edwina.

29. favourite line/passage you wrote this year?

oh gosh. hmm. maybe this one from first time which is a fic that explores kathony's firsts with each other - this part is set during their kiss in the church at the end of 2x07:

If tasting Kate Sharma is like heaven, watching Kate Sharma leave is Anthony's damnation. 

but just generally I absolutely love writing kate and anthony arguing (lbr that is a form of foreplay at this point lol), and also any of his siblings teasing him. basically I adore writing anthony, and specifically anthony being roasted to within an inch of his noble life by the people who love him.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

I think Elain and Eris have been SO fun for me to write. I love writing Lucien too but I really like being in Elain and Eris's heads.

😬 Which of your fics would you be most horrified for friends, family, or coworkers to stumble upon?

Literally any and all of them but the first is Frenzy because it's mad horny and I just can't have them knowing I write stuff like that. I am A PURE ANGEL WHO DOESN'T KNOW SUCH THINGS 😂

🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

Hmm. I've never really ventured outside of romance/drama and do feel like I have a good grasp on those but action stuff trips me up a little bit. I think I overwhelm myself when I try to write that because I visualize it playing out like a tv show would and that doesn't always translate to words well.

Unfortunately, ACOTAR has me by the fucken throat and despite its many flaws, I really love the series and all the morons in it. Which is really annoying because she's taking so long dragging it out SIGH. If I put my feelings aside for a moment though, TOG is the best of her series (which isn't the question but STILL)

10) Favourite bat boy?

Cassiannnnnnnn though I am a Rhys girlie second and by second I mean like, 1mm apart 😂

11) Favourite court?/ Which one would you most like to live in?

Autumn Court first and Dawn second. Day is third only because I'm worried about the damn heat there and yo girl cannot handle that.
