A lot of people think that this Lane Bryant ad was rejected because (a) fat women are ‘gross’; or (b) breastfeeding is ‘gross’.
How are either of those statements even remotely possible? I mean, I get it - people have different opinions and not everyone will ever have the same beliefs, but holy hell... neither of those things - fat women or breastfeeding - are gross.
Irrational thoughts - ones that don’t have decent reasoning to back them up - are gross.
I guess I just had higher hopes for progress...
