“Schmoopy muffin!” Cue bear hugs and nuzzles. Will her hair ever survive this terrible fate? Will any straightener or hair product cure the frizziness inflicted upon her locks from Stefan’s overzealous affections? Stay tuned to find out! But for now, we go to commercial break.

“Elena --” he purred, as he slouched in his chair looking to the side.

@notgriieving // thx thx thx thx for pointing that out. Their codependency is a really good point to bring up. What really makes it even more sad is the fact that she DID acknowledge some of what he does to her and how she had adapt her morals negatively to fit his behavior for their "relationship" to even kind of work. She did make note of it and she was aware of it, but because she had to change SO much to be the kind of person who could be with him (almost entirely for the worse), she was at a point where it was nearly impossible to go back. She could no longer function as an individual who could hold their own weight. I really wish she could have had the opportunity to heal away from that kind of habit.
