Feeling all the #momlife feels again today. This is the second day in a row, this week, that I have gotten dressed for work, been IN my car on the way to work, and have had to turn around and call in sick to stay with my youngest. Yesterday I made it as far as the bus stop. 🤕🤕🤕 Today? I dropped the happy girls off at the stop, waved goodbye a few minutes before the bus would arrive, and made it to Meridian from my house... when my phone rang. Rachael asked if I could turn around because Charlie had fallen and was bleeding; Charlie was screaming in the background. 🤦♀️ So I made a U-turn and raced back home. She had tripped and fallen at the bus stop, her tiny little nose was covered in #roadrash, she'd hit her teeth on the sidewalk (no discoloration so far or excessive bleeding 😬🙌), has two fat bloody lips, scraped up hands, and two banged up knees. The poor kid can barely talk or walk. 🤦♀️ I called in, again, and so far I'm #notfired. 🎉 It's the little things, right? 😂 🤕🤕🤕 So, we drove home. I hung up my lanyard, cleaned up Charlie, ate my breakfast at the counter instead of in my car, off came my work sweater I've tried to wear for two days in a row now (😂), and back into my #magneto #tshirt I scored at #Goodwill. At least I'm comfy. 🤷♀️ #mykidneedsabubble #straightjacket? #something! https://www.instagram.com/p/B8b5K7fnpAi/?igshid=tqa2v5eky7iu
