hi, sorry to bother you, but i was wondering if you knew of any cool games that are not too heavy (bonus points for female protagonists) or if you had seen any masterposts going around. i own a 3yo laptop and the heaviest game i can run is the sims 2. i usually download games from rpgmaker but i want some variety every now and then. again, sorry to bother you, and thanks for this wonderful blog!

Hmm. Well unfortunately I'm not very good at answering these questions. However I found this website called Can You RUN It which seems to answer all the basic questions about various games and what their system requirements are. It also looks as if the website can check and see if your computer can run a specific game.
I'm assuming your best bet is going to be with indie games or older games you may have not heard of. So I'll open it up to my followers. Can anybody help this person out with a few ideas?

14: A song that you would love played at your weddingi started thinking about this after my brother's first dance with his wife was to Brandy Alexander by Feist and it was the cutest fucking thing ever and i still get moderately emotional sometimes when that song comes on. i dunno if it is really wedding-appropriate but my most recent thought has been Rhye - Open.
19: A song that makes you think about lifeall of them?? umm idk i feel like Dan Mangan's early stuff always makes me feel really reflective so i will go with Dan Mangan - So Much for Everyone (heavy sighs at this version and also this one but i was only there for the next night's show!!) but Some Place to Come Home To comes a close second.
22: A song that moves you forwardi'm not sure exactly what a song 'moving me forward' entails but if i had to choose something that fit that definition it would be... The Weakerthans - The Last Last One. not that it has been a song that's gotten me through a really hard time specifically, or anything, but i think it helps 'move me forward'?

That is exactly what I did AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE CHOICE because I have so many feelings about these boys and Blue and literally none of my friends have read the books so I have to annoy people on Tumblr with my thoughts.
