Kavinsky - OutRun the accent on the narration here (in "Prelude") intrigued me. The wiki page for the album gives credit for the lyrics to both Kavinsky and a Paul Hahn, but no clue what that suggests. Kavinsky is French but that doesn't mean it couldn't just be what he sounds like, or he could have been doing an accent?
Lady Gaga - Mayhem Music to listen to later
Shredded carrot salad The inflight meal from Boston to Paris had a shredded carrot salad that I thought was quite nice. I fully could not tell you what was in it or what it tasted like at this point. There are many delicious options to try. (The carrots were in long shreds with a small square cross-section, maybe around the thickness of spaghetti or a little smaller?)
What is "bagasse"? At least some of the single-use containers used in the in-flight meal were made from "bagasse and wood cellulose." According to wikipedia, "Bagasse (/bəˈɡæs/ ⓘ bə-GAS) is the dry pulpy fibrous material that remains after crushing sugarcane or sorghum stalks to extract their juice." Ok! Makes sense
What is a highboy? Contextually this must be some kind of furniture. Wiki says it's a double chest of drawers.
Lost Arts Press I was reading The Anarchist's Toolchest, a book from Lost Arts Press that is available for free! I am not a woodworker but it was an interesting read that made me kind of want to get into woodworking. They have a lot of books! Looks like several have a free PDF available, but you have to click through to find out which ones. gotta do some downloading :3c (ETA: the guide to wound care may be worth purchasing. I sure do get wounded doin' stuff sometimes, even if I'm not usually in a woodshop.)
