it's so interesting to notice how differently i respond to certain notifications. like, seeing someone go through and systematically like and/or reblog everything i've posted for the last month or two is hot.
but there are a couple of people who are much, much more selective than that. people whose blogs i stalk more than i should probably admit, and whose attention i would love to draw. when one of them deigns to click that 'like' button, it gives me a legitimate jolt.
it feels like attention, desire, approval, in a way that just gets under my skin in the best possible way.
