It's been a while since I uploaded any pictures to tumblr, so here's some mysterious pinkish-purple flowers I don't know the name of!
i do this mostly to both annoy and delight a friend in equal measure, lol
Maybe somebody out there knows what these are? The joke of the tag is "not violets", but on second thought, maybe they're violets. (They probably actually are violets. Dang.)
PURPLE. FLOWERS.
They're back! I don't know what they are! I stuck my phone between two bushes really far to get this picture of many low-lying purple flowers growing along the leafy green ground! I think each flower has 5 petals, and each flower is maybe about an inch big?

I uused to think these were "crocuses", because they were always the first purple plants I regularly saw grieving upwards every spring, but only like last year I learned what "purple crocuses" looked like, and these aren't it.
Are.... they aren't.... bluebells are they? To describe the image, these are bunches of flowers that look like a bundle of upside-down grapes on little leafless 4-inch-tall stems. There's two of them in this picture.
