People have been talking abt gender envy a lot recently which is valid but we’ve never really experienced that, BUT art style envy is going strong

#the system speaks #not system stuff #just so jealous of people who have cartoony styles that are distinctive and consistent #we’ve never been able to like ‘pick a side’ between realism and cartoonish stuff and part of the problem is we haven’t studied enough #so our art is like a weird mix of both #like digital painting is really fun but also it looks weird with cartoony stuff #(and it’s time consuming)#and sometimes we don’t really feel like doing smooth lineart which is what we used to be known for ig??#that was a v specific situation tho #idk man
