Is it right for parent's to threaten their kids with the punishment of kicking them out?

Like over stupid things.

You're not getting your litterbox emptied well enough and it stinks.

Not getting things prepared the night before and scrambling during the morning. And occasionally suffering the consequences from it.

that they’re actually legal

that they bribe local governments

as in, they give money to elected officials to get special privileges

and this is also legal

that beauticians and hairdressers  end up tens of thousands of dollars in debt so they can learn how to do the job 

and that during their studies they’re compelled to work in college-owned salons

for free

again: they work, like, four days a week for years for absolutely zero dollars

also the college can withhold someone’s degree if they’re not up to date with their payments

as a result of high debt and low wages, many graduates will depend on food stamps for years even if they’re working full-time after their studies

one of the reasons private for-profit colleges stay open is because in the US, the public sector can’t ‘compete with the private one’

which means a community college will get sued if it offers the same degree a for-profit does in the same general area.

Meanwhile, in Communist Europe if you want to learn a trade you can start at fifteen - you simply enrol in some public school (fee: zero) and then you’ll split your time between lessons and internships (paid a fair wage).

There’s a character, not part of the main ensemble, almost a background character. This character is from one of the other worlds but the protagonists and audience don’t find out until the second, maybe even third season.
