I just watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.
Like…damn 😳🫣😲😖🥺🥺 (explaining my mood throughout the film with emojis)
I’ll try to explain well with details now.
First off- Tommy!! 🥺 poor boy that turned into a killer. Basically his “uncle” turned him into this “monster”. Sad that Tommy suffered from mental disorder, but it hurt me to hear when people were calling him “retarded” 😠. Also he’s just… Angry! Deep down!
I don’t know why but I thought Luda Hewitt would of been the “innocent step mother” but my idea of her was wrong, knowing that she was a “beggar” when she found baby Tommy.
Don’t get me started with “Hoyt” (Charlie). He gets under my skin. That’s it.
But overall, I would give the (2006 version) 8/10. I really enjoyed the horror film, just like the other horror ones, the slashers always distract me more🤭😅. Despite the gruesome and gore kills from Leatherface (he suits both names🤭) and how the family are “deformed” and “cannibals”😕.

Something that always manages to make me surprised is how much people just fucking HATE addicts.
I will say something like "I think we should treat addicts with respect and try to help and not with disdain and treat them as subhuman." And people will lose any semblance of niceness in them to argue about why all addicts are awful people who leech off of everyone and should probably die.
