How about in the none-fictional world? Are you still against older people dating younger people? Like for a example the snarry ship or the Yuuya X shuu ship?
Fiction is different as its not affecting real people. Shuuya and HiyokoXKazuki is fine to ship (though it still squicks me out personally). Like just because i personally dont ship it doesnt mean im going to push my views about it onto anyone because its not hurting anyone. Opposed to real life situations in which it is a very dangerous position for the minor to be in. Sheith, Snarry (even though its gross lol i hate that ship), IbXGarry, OtabekXYuri etc. Im not going to police that because its fictional.
Now if were talking about real people in a fictional setting, like Youtubers or Kpop idols. Thats a different story, because even though what you are doing is fictionalized, it still reflects on real people. I seriously cant stand people who ship Scoups (21) and Dino (17) together because Dino is a very real person. Even if he’d never see the fic, ethically its pretty ew. So I just dont do it and try to encourage others not to.
