If anyone needs me I'll be writing a queer retelling of Rapunzel where she doesn't know the difference between men and women because she's only ever seen one other person who is the sorceress who kidnapped her, and therefore when a woman shows up at the tower who's been disguising herself as a man for work after escaping an arranged marriage (because vaguely regency-era time period misogyny) Rapunzel immediately is like 'yup cool you're a man. what's a man?' and the other woman has an internalized homphobia lesbian crisis over the pretty long-haired tower lady while Rapunzel is completely unaware of what homophobia is altogether and doesn't understand after the other woman reveals she's not actually a man why the random straight couple they pass in town when she sneaks out of the tower can hold hands like that but they can't
