To fall is something quick, it hurts, and we get right back up. Falling is something we avoid. When you fall in love, it's painful and messy like legs skinned on rocks l. It makes us never want to do it again, yet we always do.

Oh my love. You I did not fall in love with.

My affection for you grew like a flower seed, small and inconspicuous at first. Our late night conversations and secret confessions have watered and sustained this blossom until it has overtaken my garden.

You have become the focus of my thoughts, the one person it hurts not to talk to, someone I don't know if I could live without.

When this ends, as I'm sure it must, removing this attachment will put a gaping gushing hole in my heart that will take the rest of my life to recover from.
