PLEASE tell me more about how a medical diagnostic manual created for psychiatrists, who are licensed medical professionals, to carry out their diagnoses in order to provide lifesaving medical treatment for chemical imbalances that are life altering, chronic and sometimes deadly is somehow “classist” for costing a couple hundred (which is so cheap for what it is btw) PLS i’d love to hear this explanation

LMFAO omg it’s funny that you blocked her because i highly considered it, but honestly a lot of her claims were ridiculous and the entertainment for me was too funny. from time to time i revisit the original post just to laugh at the notes because they’re so ridiculous. Like she really said the DSM, with 1000+ pages, should be sold at print value, which is ridiculous and like….just not the way the printing industry works, and when i pointed out the lifesaving qualities of the DSM she said it still wasn’t worth the $200 value which is INSANELY cheap for a medical diagnostic manual required for psychiatrists to diagnose people who have legit medical illness that require medication to function lmfao. like without my mood stabilizers i’m suicidal and rapid cycling…. i.e. LIFESAVING. i’m rambling but that whole thing was fucking iconic. the funniest part? you can easily find PDFs of the DSM V online, i love it.
