    つい先日まで、台風の影響か若干過ごし易い気候になり、安堵していたのも束の間。暑い日が続きますね。

Until just the other day, the effect of the typhoon had turned the weather somewhat easier, and for a bit I was relieved as well. The hot days are continuing, aren’t they.

  外気の香りもすっかり夏。街中では、夏休みを満喫している家族をあちこちに見かけ、懐かしい気持ちに。

The smell of the atmosphere is also summer. In the city, I see families who enjoy the summer holidays everywhere and I feel nostalgic.

    気付けば8月。葉月。

夏真っ盛り。

When I realized it was august. Hazuki.

The height of summer.

 (T/N: 葉月 is the 8th month of the lunar calendar)

  皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか。

I wonder how everyone is spending their time.

       先日、『新・幕末純情伝 FAKENEWS』が千秋楽を迎え、全24公演の幕を降ろしました。

The other day, “NEO – BAKUMATSU JUNJODEN FAKE NEWS” welcomed its finale, and the curtain was lowered on all 24 performances.

    これまで足を運んで下さった皆様、誠にありがとうございます。

To everyone who’s come to the theater until now, thank you so much.

稽古開始から2ヶ月。

あっという間な2ヶ月。

充実した2ヶ月。

2 months since practice began.

2 months that flew by.

2 months that were fulfilling.

   今回この新・幕末純情伝に携わり、本当に多くのことを学ばせて頂きました。

Having been involved in NEO – BAKUMATSU JUNJODEN this time, I truly learned a lot of things.

  この作品を愛し、僕達を愛し、役者に親身になりつつ、己の独自の切り口で物語を創り上げた、河毛さん。

Kawake-san, who created this story through his own unique perspective, while loving this work, while loving us, and while being kind to the actors.

   昔からつかこうへい作品に関わってきた洗練されたスタッフの方々。

The refined people of staff who have been involved with works of Tsuka Kohei since long.

  同じ舞台に立った素敵な先輩達。

The greatest senpai with whom I stood on the same stage.

   そして、俳優 味方良介。

And the actor, Mikata Ryosuke.

  良介くんに出逢えて良かった。あなたの坂本龍馬を以蔵として支えられて良かった。

I’m glad I met Ryosuke. I’m glad that I supported your Sakamoto Ryouma as Izo.

  稽古場でも、本番に入ってからも、たくさんお世話になりました。

At the practice venue, as well since entering the actual performance, you were a great help to me.

  この人が言う事は間違い無い。だから信頼出来る。悔しいけれど敵いません。今は。

There’s no mistake in what this person says. That’s why I can trust him. It’s vexing, but I can’t match with him. Now at least.

   僕はどうやら、同年代として1番尊敬し、1番負けたくない人に出逢ってしまったようです。

It apparently seems that I have met the person of the same age who I respect the most, and the one I don’t want to lose to the most.

    そんな人が演じる坂本龍馬だからこそ、岡田以蔵として僕自身が成長することが出来たんだと思います。感謝してもしきれません。本当にありがとうございました。

I think it’s exactly because such a person played Sakamoto Ryouma, that I was able to grow myself as Okada Izo. I have nothing but gratitude. Thank you so much.

      今思い返してみても、楽しい思い出ばかり。

Even if I look back now, I only have fun memories.

      作中、登場人物全員が総司のことを想っています。愛情や友情、羨望、はたまた殺意などさまざま。

Within the story, all of the characters were considering Shoji. Love and friendship, envy and various things like his intent to kill.

(T/N: Okita Shoji, a member of the Shinsengumi, who was notorious for his swordman skills, his intent to kill, and who fell ill to TB in the early days of the Bakumutsu period. Izo himself, was on the opposing side and is one of the notorious assassins of the same period. If you’ve ever dabbled in any work of fiction set in the Bakumatsu era, you might have encountered their namesakes. Many Swordsmen of those days have become quite popular in fiction)

 しかし以蔵は、そんな多くの人物とは異なるベクトルで総司を想い続けています。

But Izo continued to think about Shoji in a way that differed with such a large amount of people.

    背負っているものも、総司に対する言葉の強さも、想い続けた年月も、僕は以蔵が1番だと感じます。大好きな坂本龍馬先生の傍にいながらも。

What he’s carrying on his back, as well as the strength of the words in regards to Shoji, the months and years where he continued to think, I think that Izo felt that the most. While being next to his favourite teacher Sakamoto Ryouma.

     だからこそ、以蔵にだけ出せる色を。

想いを。愛を。強さを。

That’s exactly why I can only put out these colours for Izo.

Emotions. Love. Strength.

     それを追求していたら、あっという間に公演が終わってしまいました。悔しい。もっとやりたい。

While I was seeking after that, the show ended up finishing in a flash. Frustrating. I want to do more.

     この作品に出会えて、岡田以蔵に出逢えて、心から幸せでした。

I was thoroughly happy for meeting this work, and encountering Okada Izo.

       携わった全ての方、観劇、応援して下さった全ての皆様に、感謝を。

To all the people involved, and to everyone who went to the theater and supported us, my gratitude.

That said, this month’s “Nosuke no yori michi” will have Kawai Ryunosuke-san with whom I was together in the stage play of “Kuroko no Basket”.

試合でぶつかり合った者通し、そして龍之介通しのアツいトーク、どうぞお楽しみに。

Please look forward to the people who clashed in the match and the excited talk of the two Ryunosukes.

  どんな放送になるんでしょうね。

 6月1日に東京、2日に大阪で開催される、

『東京スマートさんぽ 松村龍之介 〜谷根千編〜』の発売記念イベント。

On June 1st in Tokyo, and on the 2nd in Osaka, the

Release commemorative event of “Tokyo Smart Sanpo Matsumura Ryunosuke ~YaNeSen story~” will be held.

そのチケットの一般発売が先日から開始されています！皆様もうお手に取って貰えたでしょうか。

The general sale of those tickets started the other day. Did everyone already grab one?

  有難いことに東京の方は完売した為、只今「注釈付き指定席」の追加販売を行っています。まだ手に入れていない方はこの機会に是非。数に限りがありますので、ご注意下さい。

Stage Play “Kuroko no Basket ULTIMATE-BLAZE” Fukuoka Grand Finale

   ここ数日雨が続きますね。今日も今朝から雨脚が強く、外出するのが億劫になります。お出かけやお帰りの際はくれぐれもお足元にご注意くださいね。

The rain of the past few days is continuing, isn’t it.  Today as well, the passing showers have been strong since this morning, and going out has become tiresome.  When you go out or return home, please keep taking care of your step.

   先日、舞台『黒子のバスケ ULTIMATE-BLAZE』が福岡公演大千秋楽を迎え、今作の全公演、そして舞台『黒子のバスケ』の歴史に幕を降ろしました。

The other day, we welcomed the grand finale of the Fukuoka Performances of the stage play “Kuroko no Basket  ULTIMATE-BLAZE”. And so the curtain has dropped on this performance, and the history of the stage play of “Kuroko no Basket”.

 劇場、ライブビューイング会場へのたくさんのご来場誠にありがとうございます。

Thank you so much to the many people who visited the theater or the live viewing venues.

   遂に終わってしまいましたね。

数日経って、ようやく実感が湧いてきたところです。

It’s finally come to an end, hasn’t it.

Now that a few days have passed, the reality of it is little by little catching up to me.

    2016年の初演から最後である今作まで出演させて頂いたことは、心から嬉しく思いますし、有難かった。

That I was able to appear in this work from the beginning in 2016 until the end, I am tremendously happy, and grateful.

    舞台『黒子のバスケ』で得たものは、僕にとってかけがえのない財産であり、その大きさは計り知れません。

What I learned through the stage play of “Kuroko no Basket”, is something irreplaceable to me, and that size is immeasurable.

   海常高校として初の2試合、初の勝利を味わえる今作では、笠松幸男の先輩としての威厳を大いに感じさせられる内容となっていました。

As it is a work where you can experience the the first two matches as Kaijou and the first win, it’s become a content where you greatly feel the dignity of Kasamatsu Yukio as a senpai.

   部活動で先輩が何故偉いのか、試合に臨むべき姿勢、主将とエースの役割、覚悟の重さ、等々。

Why the senpai is important for club activities, his attitude of how he’s facing the game, the role of the captain and the ace, the weight of his resolution, etc…

  連載当時に読んでいた筈の試合や台詞。

しかし年を重ねた今の自分が台本を読み、改めて “笠松幸男” という男と向き合うと、ここまで心が動かされるものなのかと驚きました。

His dialogue or expectation of the match while I was reading at the time of the serialization.

However, I’ve gotten older, and while I was reading the script as who I am now, I was surprised to find that my heart had been moved that much to once again meet the man called “Kasamatsu Yukio”.

   １つ１つの言葉や立ち振る舞いに、気高さと誠実さを持ち、こんなにも魅力に溢れる人物がいるなんて。しかもまだ高校3年生の若干18歳。

That there is a person overflowing with so much charm, of whom each and every word or mannerism possesses dignity and integrity. And yet still a high school third grader of 18 years old.

  過去の失態でバスケットボールを辞めようとまで思った人物がここまでに至るには、弛まない相当な努力が彼にあったと考えます。

That this person who has thought as far as quitting basketball over an error he made in the past, has managed to reach this place, I think that it must have been a persistent considerable effort to him.

 笠松幸男の考える部活動においての縦社会の解釈。これはどの現場、職場でも当て嵌まる僕の大好きな考えなのですが、それを加味しても大きな説得力が必要です。言葉では分かっていても、本能で理解出来無ければ意味が無い。それが人間。

An interpretation of a vertically structured society regarding Kasamatsu Yukio’s way of thinking about extracurricular activities. Though it is a favourite idea of mine who applies it to any place, and even work, you need a large amount of persuasiveness even if you do take it into account. Even if you understand it through words, it has no meaning if you can’t apply it by instinct. That’s human.

   チームメイトに強く当たり、厳しいのにも関わらず、付いて行きたいと思わせる程の説得力と人柄。

Applying it strongly on his teammates, in spite of being relentless, he has a persuasiveness personality to the point where they want to follow him.

 つまり、チームへの【努力】と【貢献】

In other words, “effort” and “contribution” to his team.

 これが笠松先輩に、他のチームメイトにもあるからこそ、黄瀬が『海常の黄瀬』を気に入ることが出来る。

That is for Kasamatsu-senpai, and thus for the other team members as well, how Kise can be pleased being “Kise of Kaijou”.  

   それを裏付けられる人物を、そこまで背負って試合が出来る人物を、これまで演じられたのはとても幸せでした。こんな人に自分も成りたい。そう思いながら向き合ってきました。

This person who can support that, this person who could carry the game to this point, I'm happy that I have been able to play this role until now. That's the kind of person I myself want to become. I faced this role while thinking that.

   そんな憧れの笠松幸男を演じていて、今作で毎回苦しかったのは、黄瀬を残り4分の時点で試合に出す時。

Playing such an admired Kasamatsu Yukio, it was difficult every time during this work, when he sent Kise in the match in the remaining 4 minutes.

  “チームを勝たせるのがエースの仕事”

“To let the team win is an Ace’s job.”

  自分が伝えた言葉を伝えた相手に返され、

自分が主将として作り上げてきたチームを心から好きと言ってくれるエース。

The words he had conveyed himself, were returned by his companion,

By the Ace that said he loved the from the bottom of his hear the team that was built by the captain himself.

その背中を見て心動かされる。

My heart was moved looking at that back.

 しかしここで黄瀬を出したら、間違い無く決勝は欠場。つまり全国制覇は絶望的。インターハイで優勝することが主将としての義務だと言う程の男が選択した道は、黄瀬を出して “今、勝つ” ということ。

By putting Kise out here, there’s no doubt that he’ll take no part in the final. In other words, conquering the nation is hopeless. This man, who went to the extent that he’d say that winning the inter high is his duty as being the captain, has chosen the path of putting Kise out there while saying “Now, go win.”

 己の信念や目標よりも、海常の未来を担うエースの意思を尊重し、目の前の好敵手を倒すことを選ぶ。

More than his own convictions and goals, he respected the wish of the Ace who carries Kaijou’s future, and chose to overthrow the opponent right in front of him.

 ここで勝つことが、そして黄瀬というエースを含めた海常というチームで勝つことが1番大切なことと感じ、その道を全力で進む。

Winning here, and winning with the team called Kaijou that included the Ace called Kise, is what feels the most important to him, and he follows that road with all his might.

   ホント男前過ぎませんか。

Isn’t he really way too manly?

  苦しかったと前述しましたが、苦しいからこそ、僕が笠松幸男という男を改めて尊敬し、改めて大好きになった時でもあります。

I mentioned earlier that it was painful, but exactly because it was painful, I’ve come to respect the man called “Kasamatsu Yukio” once again, and once again there were times when I’ve come to love him at lot.

   敵いませんね。この男には。

I’m no match for him, aren’t I. For this guy.

    最後の本日の海常。

The last “today’s Kaijou”.

  大好きで心から信頼している仲間。

このメンバーで最後まで試合が出来て本当に幸せでした。

The friends I love so much and trust wholeheartedly.

I’m truly happy that I was able to play this game until the end with these members.

   エースのまりお。

Our Ace, Mario.

 こんな事言うのも何ですが、今回改めて一緒になって、とても深い絆が生まれました。互いに歳を取り、いろんなものを見てきたからなのか。役では後輩ですが、素では紛れもなく大切な戦友であり、好敵手。大好きだけど負けたくない相手。いつもまりおの、黄瀬の背中を見ながら、海常の未来を思い描いていました。

Though what is such a thing to say, we were together again this time, and a very deep bond was born. I wonder if it’s because both of us got older and saw various things. Though he played my kouhai, at the base he is an unmistakably important friend to me, and a rival. A partner whom I love a lot but won’t lose to. Every time I looked at Mario’s, at Kise’s back, I imagined the future of Kaijou.

   今まで本当にありがとう。

もっともっと上を目指していこうな。

Thank you so much for everything until now.

Let’s go aim higher and higher, shall we.

     同じ3年を演じたわごちん。

Wago-chan who played a third year just like me.

 笠松と森山にとって、このインターハイが海常として戦う引退試合。試合直後の黄瀬の “また来年勝負っス！” という言葉に毎回胸が締め付けられる。でも悔いはない。それは森山と、和合ちゃんとここまで全力でやってこれたから。稽古でも本番でもプライベートでも、苦楽を共にした仲。本当にお世話になりました。ありがとうございます。またね。

For Kasamatsu and Moriyama, this Inter High is the match where they’ll retire from the competition as part of Kaijou. Every time I heard Kise’s words “Let’s fight again next year!” immediately after the match, my chest tightened. But I don’t regret it. Because I could come this far with all my strength together with Moriyama and Wagou-chan. A friendship where we stick together through thick and thin, during practice, the performance and even in our private lives. I’m really indebted to you. Thank you. See you again.

   こーーーーだいくん！

KOOOOOOOOOOUDAI-KUN!

 今回初参加で、1番不安だったと思います。正直僕もそうでした。ですがそれを感じさせない熱さと、人柄の良さ。信頼し、好きになるまで、時間がかからなかったです。僕にとって広大くんは癒しであり、どんな事も受け止めてくれる、チームに不可欠な存在でした。今回同じチームで戦えたこと、とても嬉しかったです。また絶対共演しましょうね。

As he was added for the first time, I think it he was a nervous because of that. To be honest, it was the same for me.  But with a passion that didn’t show it, and a good personality. It didn’t take long before I trusted him and started to like him. For me, Koudai-kun was healing, and indispensable part of this team that would come to grips with anything. Being part of the same team this time was a lot of fun. Let’s absolutely play together some time again.

   こうしてブログを書いていると、つくづく自分は海常高校が大好きだなと感じます。

While I’m writing my blog like this, I feel that I myself really deeply love Kaijou High School a lot.

    あーーー楽しかった。

欲を言えば1度で良いから優勝したかった。

Aah….. it was fun.

If I could have wished for anything, it would have been nice if we could win one time.

  このチームを勝たせてやりたかった。

勝たせられるだけの存在になりたかった。

I wanted to let this team win.

I wanted to become someone who could just let them win.

  つくづく黄瀬は凄い。

そんな黄瀬を支えられて良かった。

Kise is really amazing.

I’m glad that I was able to support such a Kise.

    改めて携わった全ての方々に、足を運んで下さった全ての皆様に、心からの大きな大きな感謝を。

Once again, to all the people who were involved, to everyone who came to the theatre, I give the greatest, greatest thanks from my heart.

  出逢わせてくれて、演じさせてくれて、学ばせてくれて、ありがとうございました。願わくば何度でも演じたい。おじさんになっても。

For letting me meet you, for letting me play you, for letting my study, thank you. If I could I want to play this role again and again. Even when I’ve become an old man.

  それくらい大好きです。笠松先輩。

That’s how much I love you. Kasamatsu-senpai.

First REVUE

本日、『SHINING REVUE』が公演初日を迎え、無事その幕が上がりました。昼公演、夜公演共に足を運んで下さった皆様、誠にありがとうございます。

Today we welcomed the first performance day of “Shining Revue” and the curtain went up safely. Thank you very much to those who came to visit us during the daytime performance and night time performance.

最初から最後まで皆様が温かく迎え、盛り上がって下さる。感謝が尽きません。

From beginning until the end, everyone greeted us warmly and was excited. I can’t thank you enough.

 皆様が思い思いに降って下さるペンライト。とてもパワーを頂けるのはもちろん、舞台から見えるその光景はとても綺麗。

The penlights that everyone was shining down on us as they liked. Of course we were able to receive a great deal of power, but the sight that can be seen from the stage is really beautiful.

 (T/N: I think he means that everyone had set it to the colour they chose freely?)

そしてそれ以上に輝く、皆様の笑顔と心から楽しんでいる姿。全てが己の糧となっています。

And shining even more brightly, were everyone’s smiles and figures enjoying themselves from the bottom of their hearts. All of that has become a source of encouragement for me.

ステージ上から恩返しを。

感謝と愛を込めて。

音也衛門役のれん。

 れんは本当に凄い。ステージ上で彼が放つ輝きは、見ている方を魅了し、パワーを与える。それは共演している僕達にも。

Ren is really amazing. He emits a brightness that charms everyone who sees him, and gives them power. Even to us who are costarring with him.

 日々たくさん学ばせて貰っています。

ですが負けません。

Day in day out I learn a lot from him.

But I won’t lose.

同じステージに立てて嬉しい。明日からも宜しくね。

I’m glad I can stand on the same stage. Tomorrow as well, yoroshiku ne.

 こうして一緒にお仕事出来るのは、ハワイでのロケ以来ですね。光栄に思います。

It’s been since the shooting at Hawaii that we’ve been able to work together like this, hasn’t it? I consider it an honour.

 (T/N: Nosuke and Masanari were in the same group for the “regular” Tabimate)

 この方は本当に面白い。面白い人が好きな自分にとって、まーしーさんはどストライク。嗅覚と感性も好き。

This person is really interesting. For me who likes interesting people, Maashii-san is just right. I also like his sense of smell and sensibility.

 初日にして千秋楽なのが残念ですが、稽古頑張って下さいね。来たる本番に向け、素敵な作品になることを願っています。本日はお疲れ様でした。

Though it’s a shame that the first is the last performance for you, please do your best at practice, ok? I hope that when your next performance happens, it’ll be a wonderful work. Thanks for your hard work today.

どちらも最高の時間を、皆様に。

     昨日、『のすけの寄り道』第2回がニコニコ生放送にて放送されました。ご視聴誠にありがとうございます。

Yesterday, the second episode of “Nosuke no Yori Michi” was broadcast on NicoNico broadcasting. Thank you for everyone. Thank you very much to those that watched it.

  1時間という短い時間ではありましたが、たくさんの方に観て頂いて嬉し限り。

Even though it was a short time of just one hour, I’m happy that it was watched by a lot of people.

  明日から大阪公演という事もあり、今回は舞台『JOKER TRAP』で共演中の愉快な仲間たちとお送りしました。

There’s also the fact that the Osaka performances start tomorrow, so this time I delivered it together with my delightful friends whom I co-star with in the “Joker Trap” stage play.

最近ずっと一緒という事もあり、時折生放送という事を忘れ、4人のありのままの姿で楽しんでいる場面も。

Recently we’ve been together all the time, sometimes we’d forget about it being a live broadcast, and there were also scenes where the four of us were enjoying ourselves as we are.

   今後も面白く、皆様の生活の癒し、そして元気を与えられる番組にしていけたらなと思います。次回もお楽しみに。

I think that in the future I would like for this to become something interesting, a comfort in everyone’s daily lives, and a program that would give people energy.

 昨日はとても寒い日でしたね。

東京では雪が降ったとか降らなかったとか。折角春らしくなってきたと思った矢先の寒波ですね。先が思いやられます。寒いの嫌。

Yesterday was a really cold day, wasn’t it? Not sure if it was snowing in Tokyo or not. It was a wave of cold, right when I thought it was finally becoming spring. I worry about later. I hate the cold.

  でも雪女だから良しとします。寧ろ嬉しい。

But because I’m Yukionna, I should be fine. Or rather, happy.

   舞台『妖怪！百鬼夜高等学校』の京都公演が初日を迎え、再びその幕が上がりました。

Stage play “Youkai! High School of pandemonium” reached the first day of the Kyoto performances, and the curtain rose again.

  昼夜共にたくさんのご来場誠にありがとうございます。新宿faceとは全く異なる京都劇場の環境に新鮮さを覚えつつも、久しぶりの雪女の感覚に気持ちの高まりを感じながら臨めました。

I’m really grateful for those that came to watch during both the day and night performances. While also remembering the freshness in the environment of the Kyoto Theatre which is completely different from Shinjuku Face, I faced the feeling of Yukionna for the first time in a while as I felt my mood soar.

ゲストのかまいたち達さんとみんなで。

 初の3人ゲスト。

それぞれの色がとても個性的で面白い。ドラマではあんなにオラついていたキャラクターなのに、皆さんとても真面目というギャップも素敵。

For the first time there were 3 guests.

Each and every personality is very uniquely interesting. Even though they are such big-headed characters in the drama, the gap where everyone is so earnest is also wonderful.  

  最終日もよろしくお願いしますね。

(T/N: he’s using the more feminine pronoun “watashi”, as opposed to his usual “boku”, referring to Yukionna. This is the first blog since I started translating where he uses his full name in the greeting... )

T/N: He isn’t wrong, it was really chilly. I went to visit Youkai street (the titular Ichijodori), but it was practically deserted. Very few stores were open, and even fewer people were around. With the pale overcast skies, it just made it a bit... underwhelming? I’m aware it’s but a small tourist spot, but none the less probably more fun in warmer times.

Based on the play, the youkai had a lot more fun on their trip though.

I attended the evening performance, and I’d be lying if Yukionna’s hairdo wasn’t one of the things I was looking forward to the most. Let Saturday be the only day that the official Youkai!HS twitter did not post pictures of his hair.

そうだ 京都、行こう。

    段々と春の陽気が街を包み込む様になってきましたね。朝や夜はまだ少し肌寒い日が続きますが、春はもう目の前。

Gradually the season of spring has come to envelop the city, hasn’t it? Though it continues to a bit chilly during the day and night, spring is already in sight.

  先日から桜も開花し始めていますし、ようやく気持ちの良い季節になってきましたね。

The other day, the cherry blossoms have already started blooming, and I finally feel like it’s become a good season.

東京公演が終えてから、京都公演の間は、引き続き僕は稽古の真っ只中。大好きな人達と大好きな作品に携われて、とても幸せです。

 Changing the story.

Since the Tokyo performances have ended, in the gap before the Kyoto performances, I’ve been smack in the middle of practice without a break.  I’m involved in one of my favourite works with my favourite people, I’m very happy.

今日未明、男性が新幹線に乗車する際、駅で奮発して好物のお寿司を購入したところ、商品を入れていたビニール袋の中で、いつのまにか容器が縦になっていた事が判明。

Today at the gray of morning, when a guy was getting on the shinkansen, he treated himself to his favourite Sushi which he bought at the station, and he noticed that at some point the package had turned vertical in the plastic bag in which they had put the goods.

  男性は、席につき袋から出した時には既にこの状態であったと供述しています。

 The guy stated that it was already in this state when he took it out of the bag while in his own seat.

 男性は暫く声が出なかった様子で、周りの乗車客からは、男性の頬を伝う一筋の液体状の物体を見たという目撃証言も出ています。

 The guy remained silent for a while, and from the surrounding passengers, we have eyewitness testimonies that said they saw a single tear trailing the guy’s cheek.

  3月も後半に差し掛かりました。

皆様如何お過ごしでしょうか。

We’ve reached the second half of March as well.

I wonder how everyone is spending this time?

  世間では相変わらず花粉がたくさん飛んでいるそうですね。花粉症の人達が不憫でなりません。鼻水ご止まらないと集中出来ないですよね。生産効率がガクンと落ちる。

It appears like a lot of pollen are still flying about in the world. I can’t help but feel sorry for those suffering from hay fever. You really can’t concentrate if your nose keeps running. Production efficiency suddenly drops down.

  花粉症ではない人も油断は出来ません。年齢を重ねてから発症する場合もあるそうなので、注意が必要です。何はともあれ、強く生きましょう。

Even the people without hay fever can’t be careless. As it seems like you can also develop the symptoms when you get older, it’s necessary to stay vigilant. Whatever happens, let’s stay strong.

 そんな3月中旬。

僕は、先日から舞台『黒子のバスケ』の稽古に合流致しました。

In the middle of a March like this.

Since the other day, I’ve joined the practice the of the stay play “Kuroko no Basket”.

  圧倒的スピードで付けられていく演出。荒削りではあるものの、もう分かりました。

A production joined with incredible speed. Although still a work in process, I already understood.

 これは絶対面白い作品になる。

It’ll definitely become an interesting piece.

 そんな確信を持つには充分過ぎる素敵な物語と演出。久しぶりに参加出来ることを、改めて心から嬉しく思います。

By having such a conviction, It’ll become a story and production more than sufficiently wonderful. To be able to participate after quite a while, I think I’m happy from the bottom of my heart again.
