Another TV update, now with video games!
TV -
I stalled out on watching both The Clone Wars and Rebels because even cartoon war is too much for me.
So I re-watched Death in Paradise, including the new season which I had just watched in the fall. I mean, yes, it’s full of murder, but if I just looked up once in a while I saw beautiful Caribbean sea views and I needed that.
Then I started re-watching Hilda which is adorable but I love the art so much I am saving it for when I can actually pay attention.
Also I’m kind of watching iCarly which weirdly holds up. Upon reflection, I don’t know why it wouldn’t since I was a full adult with a law degree when it was on TV and I was watching it when I came home from work.
Video games:
I was on a streak of playing Minecraft since the pandemic began, but I decided to take a break late this fall and come back when the Caves and Cliffs update drops. So I started working through my Steam library.
I played through Northgard a few times which was very diverting but it’s not a settle in and disappear game. Same with Banished, I built a couple of cities and enjoyed it a lot but not a long term game for me.
Now I’m playing Stardew Valley and am at about the 200 hour mark. It’s definitely a settle in and abide game so I think I’ve got a while left with it.
