Micha manages to secure a first-class ticket for herself via begging Kale, who needed to attend business in New York.
It happens to come with pretty dresses which admittedly takes a while to get used to, but ahhhh so pretty. Kale knows how to pick his clothes.
Sarine is grumpier than usual, probably because she is seasick.
Sean wins his ticket via some tricky gambling. There was probably food involved. Actually, I bet he didn’t even know there were Titanic tickets involved--he saw some all-you-can-eat advert accompanied with some fine point that he didn’t bother to read and just went for it.
KAT AS THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN THO.
Robin is another first-class passenger who occasionally eats with Kale and Micha at their table after they kind of crashed into each other during tea. It’s very calming (disregarding the initial crash). Micha makes an extra effort to invite him over to their table when Kat eats with them.
Micha almost falls off the stern of the ship because she’s like 99% sure those were dolphins and she’s never seen a dolphin in real life before so maybe she should use this chance to get to see one up close and personal.
Sean totally gets the wrong idea but I doubt he was as subtle as Jack Dawson so he probably shouted something first and Micha was so startled she almost dived right overboard. Thankfully Sean’s got good reflexes.
Kale is not impressed with either of them. Sarine feels some strange obligation to hate this third-class ginger hunk and is more than willing to go along with it.
Can you imagine Kat trying to pick out dinner outfits for Sean? Hilarious. One-man fashion show in Kat’s suite, showing the season’s hottest in poor fashion choices that look suspiciously like armor.
If Sean cared more he’d probably be embarrassed with himself with his terrible table manners but nah he’s too busy trying to impress Micha and weather Sarine-kicks under the table.
Cue sideplot Kat and Robin romance, interrupted on occasion by a flailing utensil from Sean.
THIRD-CLASS DORK DANCE PARTY. STRUT YOUR STUFF SEAN.
“Draw me like one of your French girls.” “I can’t draw.” Does Sean have some other artist-y ability? I feel like he should so that he can redeem himself after being unable to draw French ladies.
Wild night out trying to escape Sarine. Sarine’s wrath is probably what caused the ship to sink.
I will never recover from Sean's OTP. I want to know what went through his head. The deciding factor that made him go 'Yes, I ship this'.
It's not as extravagant as you might think.
Sean loves Naran to pieces and wants the best for him. Raina is Kat's sweet, innocent, pure cinnamon bun baby girl who he also wants the best for.
Obviously Naran is the best person (because how could he not? He's his son) and Raina is the best person (because of reasons above) so CLEARLY them together would be beautiful.
Not to mention Raina probably teases Naran in adorable ways to get him to do things and Sean is a terrible father and 100% supports giving Naran a hard time. But only if it's cute. If someone tries to bully Naran Sean would be on them just as fast as Micha's dragons.
The only blanket Sean had not been able to secure was Sarine’s, which was expected. But other than that, every other blanket and spare pillow in the house had been rallied for their new valiant purpose: constructing the biggest, most comfortable fort in the room.
Sean pokes his head out of the entrance of the fluffy fort a short while after Micha has walked into their bedroom, pausing in the doorway to survey the sprawling creation encompassing their bed. “I see you’ve been busy,” she says, impressed, and he grins widely before lifting an arm out and making ‘come hither’ gestures. Micha lets herself get pulled into the impressive creation, kicking off fluffy slippers in the process and then dragging herself fully inside to flop onto Sean’s chest.
"Oh, very nice," she says, highly amused when she sees that he’s added tinsel strings and colorful Christmas baubles to the roof of the fort. "But I won’t be the one to return the decorations to their rightful box in the basement."
Sean laughs, tightening his arms around her. “Sure,” he says easily, stretching out against a few pillows. “It comes with lights too,” he adds, unwrapping one hand and lifting his arm up to cast about. Eventually he locates the little remote—little lights flash on with a press of the tiny button.
Micha rolls her eyes, wiggling comfortably into his side. “What is this? Extended holidays?”
"Yeah," he hums into her hair. "Nothing wrong with extra festivities." Micha murmurs a quiet affirmation, and when Sean falls asleep later, lightly taps the remote out of his hand to turn the little lights off.
