it didnโt help that you didnโt have anyone there to support you. most of your friends and family were on the other side of the country back home in the outer banks. your parents had sent their love and congratulations but hadnโt been able to make the trip. worst of all, your boyfriend, who was at a college only an hour away, wouldnโt be able to make it because of a tight deadline on a report.
