I am so overwhelmed by today. So first of, I checked my results for my diploma exams online, and was really disappointed by the marks. I mean it was below average and I was just so disappointed in myself I felt like giving up. And I was about to “ball my eyes out” but I could not shed a single tear. I was so miserable and shock and just all my emotions were all over the place that I hindered my tears, my mind just went blank like wth to I do. But then I went to check my Norquest email because my teacher sends out mail every once in a while.
To my surprise, norquest has sent me an email telling me I had to deposit 200$ CAD and I was just in awe... It was a HOLD UP moment. Because I was in so much shock, I had to text a friend of mine that has already been accepted to confirm, that this email meant I was also accepted to LPN. This is to be cautious considering my past experiences with applying to universities and colleges(r.e being rejected by Macewan). And to my fortune, I was ACCEPTED!
To some, this might not be a great deal as its not a prestigious school like UofA and such, but to me..it was a sign of hope. I might be the happiest person to get accepted to Norquest Lol. I know it would be the start of hardships, uncertainty, stressful days, doubts etc,. But I also know and hope that I’ll grow from future experiences that this opportunity will give me. For all my life it is true that I have not faced a lot of adversity which I am blessed for but this will be a great encounter to a milestone in my life.
