Imagine helping Norman find a good place to hide from Paparazzi.
Norman was caught in a spot of trouble. He was hoping that being back in his hometown would mean that the paparazzi might leave him alone, but they had followed him here., stupidly looking for some sort of ex girlfriend or old friend o convince to talk about him.
But alas, they had caught site of him instead, walking through a park, trying to enjoy a nice day. Thanks to The Walking Dead, he had some cardio experience and was able to outjog them into a more wooded area, but they would be catching up any minute.
“Norman?” He heard someone say. He looked over his shoulder to see you, someone that he remembered fondly from his past.
“Y/N, um - I don’t have much time.” He admitted, squinting in the sunlight.
“Follow me,” You said, and started to walk through the trees, away from the sounds of footsteps. He followed you cautiously but quickly, staying on your heels the entire time. You stopped at a certain tree with boards nailed into it and a wooden structure in the branches. “Go, I’ll cover.”
Norman quickly climbed up the makeshift ladder and hid in the treehouse. He was as quiet as a moonless night as he heard you talking to the press, saying that you had no idea who Norman was which made him smirk. For a time, you had known him better than anyone, inside out.
Once the sounds had faded away, you climbed up as well to join him now that the press had abandoned their search. “The joys of being famous, hmm?” You questioned laughing.
“Yeah.” Norman laughed. Being with you again after so long, it felt like no time had actually passed and the conversation remained comfortable. It was easy to pick up where you had left off years ago.
