It’s that time of the month again 🩸this might seem disgusting for some ppl but I want to assure you that it’s something super normal and lots of ppl experience it every month. I really think that it’s important to normalise periods. After quitting hormonal birth control a year ago I tried to learn more about my cycle and dug a bit into the topic of NFP (natural family planning). If you’re interested in those topics I highly recommend @crystalkennings ‘s profile, she’s a huge inspiration and shares a lot of information! While I’m trying to get my cycle back on track, the things pictured above helped me making my period a bit more enjoyable. A hot cup of tea ☕️ , some chocolate cookies 🍪 , a good book📖 , my period undies ( I love @ooshi.period.underwear , but there are also other brands like @shethinx ) and my reusable cup ( I use a @meluna_menstruationstasse but it’s leaking a bit so I really wanna try @letsnixit as they promise no leakage!!!). I also use reusable pads ( I sew them myself) in addition to my cup or on light days. Sorry if this was TMI and thanks if you read all of this!
