I have acquired some new children…
To-be-named ~5-year-old male hognose! Super arctic conda 60% het ppa (pink pastel albino iirc?). He is my smol child and I already love him very very much!! (I cannot believe my first two snakes were some of my dream morphs…)
^ This picture was taken before I had put in the plants and hooked up the lighting fixture. He was restless in his small container so I put him in his enclosure after setting up the bare minimum. I do have a stick he can climb on as well, but it wasn’t done cooking in the oven until after he went to sleep about an hour ago, and I don’t want to wake him up </3
He doesn’t have a name yet, but I am considering Pluto and Frost! I’ll probably sit on this stinker a bit more before deciding, though. I am VERY picky with names and once he is named, I cannot go back, so it must be perfect as I mentally will not be able to rename him down the line. Why? Something something autism and change not getting along, probably.
And Saturn, a male normal ball python morph! My depth perception is godawful but my mom guesstimates him to be about 41 inches long just going off the length of his enclosure (which is 48 inches long).
He’s a rescue so we don’t know how old he is or if he’s het anything. The ball python redistribution system chose my sister as his new owner and we all love him very much. He is best chonky boy <3
Before anyone starts talking shit, yes, we know his enclosure is currently very bare. However, my mom did order a lot of fake plants which should be arriving on Monday. (I did offer to steal some of my corn snake’s flora to temporarily put in there, but they decided to wait till the new stuff arrives. Saturn doesn’t seem all that shy, so he should be fine till Monday.)
We now have four snakes. Two ball pythons, one corn snake, and one hognose. I am in heaven.
My poor dad lmao. He’s afraid of snakes ☠️ He’s been very tolerant of my fixations tho, which I very much appreciate him for. W dad moment!
