Although he always was excited to go to Studios, today was especially exciting. This would be the first real date that he would have in a while, since most of the relationships he’d had since moving were just casual hook-ups. As a result, he dressed a bit nicer than usual, putting on a short-sleeved polo, instead of one of his usual t-shirts. After checking himself in the mirror one last time and making sure he had everything, Adrien set off to pick up his date. Soon he arrived at their house and went up to the door, ringing the doorbell. “Hi.” He said with a grin, biting back his nerves. “Are you ready to go?”

Since he had some time before work, Adrien had gone to Starbucks. However it appeared that they’d mixed up his order with someone else’s, since he ended up with an extra drink that he hadn’t ordered. Rather than throw it away, Adrien decided to give the extra drink to the first person he saw. Spotting a free seat by the window, he took it, and proceeded to turn to the girl next to him. “Hey,” He started off, “this is gonna sound a bit random, but they gave me an extra drink, and I was wondering if you’d like it instead?”

Adrien shot his best friend a shit eating grin as he took a bite of his brownie. “Really? Here and now?” He teased, pretending to sound surprised. “But we’re at Starbucks.” He knew the comment would earn him a smack upside the head, but he couldn’t resist. He loved to tease Thea.
