mengyao looked down at the other, sizing them up. “so, you’re the one that i’ve heard has been causing some trouble. i suppose i can understand that -- you are very attractive,” he said, a smirk coming across his lips before he motioned for the guards to leave the room. he stood from his throne, quietly walking to stand in front of the other. “do you have interest in the kingdom? do you wish to rule it yourself?” he asked, slipping an ornate dagger from his side. he held it out for the other to take, tilting his head to the side slightly to show ease of access. “you could take it all, raise yourself and your family to the top.”

raz was alive. this was so much better than the stuffy and pompous parties his father held. this was a real party and was completely for putting himself in new and exciting situations -- which was why he smeared some of his blood on his face as ‘decoration’. he wanted to know how many looks he’d get and see if this whole vampire thing was real. he saw a beautiful girl near the bar and easily offered her a small knife he brought along with him. “need this? You’re either was to pretty not to have something to fend people off, or you can use it to get what you want. i wouldn’t be surprised if you were one of ‘them’. they do say they’re all eternally beautiful and everything. what do you think? tacky?” he playfully asked, motioning to the red stripes he’d put on his cheeks underneath his eyes.

          ‘  you’re  kidding  right  ,  i’m  just  beginning  to  have  fun  !  ’    the  female  whines  ,  though  she’s  never  quite  been  as  drunk  as  she  is  in  front  of  the  other  right  now  .  guess  the  perks  of  a  house  party  are  the  free  booze  ,  for  jaehee  anyway  .  the  female  is  clinging  to  their  shirt  ,  clearly  in  dire  need  of  some  water  and  her  bed  .   ‘  you’re  being  a  big  b o r e  .  ’

cameron thrived in the underground scene, but he’d never been involved with something quite like this before. these were the real underground folk, the ones that truly lived in another world apart than the one the majority of society knew. this was what cameron wanted to be a part of -- something different, something with a different set of rules. however, even if this society was governed a bit strangely, there were just some things you couldn’t change -- like allowing people to harass others. that would never be acceptable. so, when he noticed a couple of guys look like they were trying to follow someone cute, cameron didn’t think much before he was over there to throw his arm around the stalkee’s shoulders. “baby, you can’t go running off like that without telling me. you never know what strange people are coming to these things -- that’s why i bring shit to protect us,” he said, patting his pocket though there was nothing in there.

geun shot jay a piercing glare, daring him to continue. “i’m not running away from anything -- i’m moving on,” he said, teeth clenched and mouth almost a snarl. “sometimes you realize that you’ve exhausted whatever you can get out of place and you have to find somewhere else -- it’s called evolving. when you’ve been around for as long as i have, you learn,” he spat out, nose crinkling slightly as he took two challenging steps toward the other. “what have you to give me anymore? you’re constantly busy and i see how those others eye you. you’ll leave me the moment you find someone better than me. and, you should -- no one should be held down because of guilt or sentiment,” he said coldly through his teeth. these were truths he’d forced himself to believe over the years considering the fragility and short time mortals had on this earth. sure, there were others that lived longer, but the habit was hard to break -- especially when he needed to travel constantly to avoid suspicion.

gem cupped ryan’s cheeks gently as she looked the other over. “ah, ryan you’re so handsome -- why don’t you ask any of the pretty girls to hang out with you? i know you’re very attached to me and i promise i’ll only be a little jealous, but i know they would like you,” she teased with a small laugh. “and you know i would hurt anyone who thought otherwise,” she reassured before picking one of the strawberries she was sharing with him, taking a bite before offering ryan to take a bite from it himself as she held it up to his mouth. “you have such pretty lips too -- i know they all dream about kissing you.” unfortunately, one of the girls that dreamed of kissing ryan included herself.
