"So what city do you usually see your doctor in?"
"Uh, I don't know."
You're telling me you're 46 years old and don't know where you've gone to see the doctor for what you claim is a chronic condition you've had since your 20's but isnt documented in our system?
Helter Skelter
"Marvellous. Just the ticket in case we get stranded - er - or otherwise are really enjoying wherever we happen to land," he blurted quickly. With a snap of his fingers, the TARDIS door opened and he walked inside with her. Extracting himself from Clara’s hold, the Doctor slid across to the navigation panel and set about preparing for flight. "Right, what do you say to.. quick stop-off at a spa planet then we pay a visit to the D’khalosian colonies. Beautiful worlds, and the cities are full of helter-skelter slides!"
"You said stranded," Clara laughed. "That was what happened in Victorian Yorkshire; we got dunked in diluted venom and as a result, we were stranded! But at least we got home without too much fuss. And by that, I mean no one reported me missing or anything like that…" Clara trailed off, thoughtful. "Has that happened before, your traveling companions get reported missing?"
She shrugged, grinning. “But I’m not too worried; I’d say yes to the spa planet, mostly because I want to see what spas are like in… another 20-30 centuries. And explain to me just what a helter-skelter slide is? Sounds quite fun, actually. Like a roller coaster at Blackpool.”
The Doctor was glad that Clara carried on asking other questions after wondering whether he'd had any companions reported missing before. He had given an awkward look and made himself look very busy indeed at the console, trying to press back the surge of guilt over so many times of making people worried. 'We thought you were dead!'
At her last question he seemed surprised. "You don't know what a helter-skelter is? Blimey, you need to get out of London more, although the travelling fair does seem to have lost its popularity in your era. They're brilliant. You climb up the steps of a tower and someone hands you a mat, which you stick your feet in, and use to slide round and round the outside down to the bottom. Like a log-flume without the water.
"You know what, there's even one in the TARDIS at the back of the library." He grinned at her. "Wanna see?"
(Ill post to you the last few we had for the original okay? :D))
"I hope to see all of it as well," She smiled brightly to him showing she was hopeful for his words, but unsure if they would come true. She lowered her hands slowly and chuckled. "Come, follow me, I will show something I can only hope you haven’t seen yet…"Â
She stepped out onto the water and where her feet touched the surface, the water froze over at the touch of her feet. She put her hand out to him and smiled brightly. ------------------------------------------------------
An awed smile spread across the Doctor’s face as she stepped across the water. He took her hand and felt like a child instead of the thousand-year-plus creature that he was, carefully daring to step across after her and hoping dearly that he wasn’t going to slip over on his face. He wondered what it would be that she was to show him. It was bound to be better than a Dalek this time.
----------------------------------------------------------
A kind of current passed through his finger tips as soon as he had touched her. She smiled brightly as his feet touched the water only to do the same as hers was doing. Keeping hold of his hand, she walked with them out to the center of the lake towards the waterfall.Â
"Look down…and tread lightly." She whispered.
Below there feet, the wild like was glowing in some sort of reaction to the light around them, the farther down, the more intense the glow. Fish glue all different types of colors, plant life swirled together like a painting. Along with the ripples of the water, it all most looked like water colors out of an old style piece at a museum somewhere. Larger animals towards the surface circled closer to their feet where they stood curious of the temperature and the odd light it gave off.
Their current position also changed the outlook about the surface of the water. Things were heard better, the sounds off the waterfall amplified the air and showed him a new perspective. The winds played a better song, the butterflies danced to the tune, the soft echoes of the birds chimed along, giving him a since of true peace.
Gomon closed her eyes listening to it all, has she had done many times before. This was the result of the power she had brought to the world. Landing in this crater that had created such a beauty and wonder tuned her into the planet, into its true nature of things. This brought her to an understanding not many get from the universe and should have been dubbed as a fluke in the timeline. No where else in his travels would this even be listed as existing in history.
--------------------------------------------
Mouth half open in concentration, the Doctor wobbled after her upon the lake’s surface. He wasn’t a particularly graceful incarnation except when he was focusing on an art such as dancing or playing at sport. His eyes grew wide at the sight of the colour display beneath their feet, an old acquaintance certainly springing to mind. My friend, now I think I can see the things you see. Tears collected in his eyes - a rare thing these days for a Gallifreyan to do so from joy, but the power from this place tugged at his hearts and seeped into his skin. It was almost too much for his psychic sensitivities.
"I almost never want to leave…" he breathed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"This is the way my world once looked, graceful, beautiful. Until the rise of Ryu, the planet was taken over by war and destroyed by his greed. When I came here, part of my home came with me and grew within the crater I made." She looked down at her feet seeing the yellow glowing fishes curiously watching their foot steps.Â
She smiled before looking up at the Doctor. Her hands still holding onto his. “Only Coraw, Alacard, and Draco have been able to come into this place, and now you…It’ll be under all of yours protection after I am gone.”
If there ever was a possibility she wouldn’t make it through, she would leave it all to them. Although she had promised to do her best to get through it to go with him, to see the wonders he had spoke of.
(And that is where we left off, remember the lake? I hope you do lol)
His hand squeezed hers gently. "You will return to this place, Gomon, and I shall protect it even if I cannot always stay near in person. I promise, and I always take my promises seriously." Even when I so often break them by mistake. "Thank you for making me a part of this. I am honoured to have seen it."
The Doctor continued to stare in awed fascination at the waters and the life they sheltered.
(Indeed I do!)
Sexual Sunday
"Come again?" The Doctor gawked at John, only barely realising that this was a metacrisis and not his past self. "Sorry, I must have misheard. Were you talking about Rose?" Unfortunately he was not privy to what had happened between the couple and was perplexed enough that he had arrived here.
John laughed, then rolled his eyes, then went back to laughing. “I think you heard me pretty well,” he replied with a shrug. “I’m not talking about Rose—Rose’s no more. Gone with the wind. But you’re beautiful, Doctor. And you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this to happen,” he replied quietly, walking toward the man.
"No.. more..? What?" The Doctor repeated John's words with quiet confusion, entirely distracted by the other man's approach. "Hang on - waiting for what exactly?" Whether he was oblivious or sticking to a path of denial was unclear.

"Ok,what about this imaginary banana?" She asks her arms crossed. She hasn’t taken off his old leather jacket since he let her wear it.
"Well, the thing is, not everyone likes their bananas the same. Some like them just right, some like them brown or black, and some like them crunchy and green and eugh, but the simple fact that everyone has to peel them open and you can never be exactly sure what it'll be like inside until you have. I've forgotten where I was going with this, but I think it was supposed to be an analogy of people and aliens and perspectives."
Tell me stories, Doctor (throws a blanket around both of us). Tell me stories about what time and space travel is like. I'd like to go, one day. Would you ever take me, do you think?
He settled the blanket more snugly about them, letting her rest against him. “Yes, yes I would, and when I do, there is so much I’d like to show you. This me, I’m afraid I’m a little bit scarce. Waiting times for adventures can be a nuisance, but there are plenty of me’s about in the meantime who I’m sure can help. Plus -,” he tapped the side of her head, “there’ll be one of me in there, and he can take you anywhere you like whenever you like. I may exist in another’s mind, but that doesn’t have to mean I’m not real. I’m talking to you, ain’ I? But yes, I will take you and/or Holly. As for stories..” The Doctor puffed his cheeks. “So many to tell. It’s vast and empty, and yet beautiful and filled with chaos and patterns and cultures and sunrises and tiny, wonderful civilizations. There are kingdoms built on music, cathedrals beneath oceans, caves carved out of diamonds, and amazing, ordinary, extraordinary, struggling and fascinating peoples. More than even I will ever see.. but we can go catch a glimpse. Wha’d’you say?”

She had asked him why he was telling her to run back to the TARDIS to charge up his sonic screwdriver. He could not lie here, not in this town encased within a truth field, and so he was about to misguide her. He could tell her to put the section of his sonic into the charge slot - he just wouldn’t tell her why.
All hell will break loose -Â the truthful lies were on his lips, but he did not say the words. He felt the weight of the field pushing him toward honesty and, for all his desperation to protect Clara, he failed to stop himself.
"Because I’m sending you back because I’m staying here and I don’t want to trap you here forever with me with your short human life where I’ll have to watch you die and it will break my h-." The Doctor clapped his hands over his mouth, eyes wide with horror at Trenzalore’s curse. Slowly he drew his palms from his face and spoke with an air of defeat. "I was going to trick you. I was going to do what I always do when it’s someone I care about. I’m sorry, Clara."
Clara examined the little plug in for the sonic, tracing the design on the side. So engrossed was she in looking at it that she nearly jumped at the sound of the Doctor’s words.Â
"You do realize that if you send me away, I’m just going to turn around and come right back," she insisted, glaring at him. "I’m not leaving you alone, Doctor! You’re my —" Suddenly, she couldn’t stop talking, the truth field caused her words to come spilling out of her mouth faster than she could contain them.
"You’re the single most amazing person to have come into my life, and I can’t believe I’ve become so lucky! I find myself falling in love with you, not just once, but twice, three times a day, and I love —" She clapped her hand quickly over her mouth, turning bright red.Â
At once the Doctor stepped forward and drew her into a hug, squeezing tightly with affection.
He pulled back to look at her, stroking her cheek with his thumb. “I’m not sure you would love me very well when I can’t so much as tell a fib. I imagine I would talk a lot less.” There was a pause in which he considered this. “Actually, that would probably be a plus.” He wondered if he should tell her what he truly felt. The truth field did not compel you to blab your secrets, and it did not force you to speak if you remained silent, but telling people what he thought of them – when it was something so private and someone he loved – had always been a difficulty.
“If you stay with me and I can’t change your mind, you have to promise me something. If I modify that part of the sonic and tell you, when I can’t possibly lie, that it will bring you straight back here, now, will you go back to your family? Write them a letter, anything you like, but tell them something. You might be okay with it now, but there will come a time when you lie awake at night worrying about how they grieved. I’ll be the naked Swedish boyfriend who kidnapped and murdered you. That should not be how Clara Oswald ends. Promise me.”
