For the longest time Komaeda thought he would never adjust to being at Hope’s Peak Academy. Surrounded by all these Super High School Levels in a school brimming with hope? There was no way he could get used to something like that, right? Surprisingly he did, although it appears that the school had yet to get used to him. His luck successfully ostracized him-- nobody quite forgave him for the time he was looking for a book in the library and every last shelf fell over in succession in the process -- but it was no matter. They were all above him, so he was unworthy to be an accepted member of the community.

It isn’t every day you meet into someone with white hair, thought Komaeda to himself, even though he also has white hair. Granted, his hair wasn’t always white, but still. Albinos were truly hard to come by. He’d seen her around on campus before, but he never really had any reason to talk with her.
Until today. See, today was different. Komaeda, being lucky (unlucky?) stumbled, quite literally, upon one of the toys she was working on. He didn’t really know how it got there, but he knew it was hers as he’d seen her work on it before, so he felt he should return it.
