None of this is more than a tissue paper before the Pristine Beauty that YOU Are … as the SELF. Dissolve the conditioning and this ever-Present Truth is revealed.

Oh, hello!

I think I am finally ready to resuscitate this improv blog. Several things kept me from it for the better part of the last year. Chief among those things was a mounting internal pressure that I had to do this “right.” That feeling built up until I felt so stuck I couldn’t write anything no matter how hard I tried (and oh, reader, I tried!), feeling that nothing I wrote could ever live up to what I had written before.

It’s taken me months to realize that all I really had to do in this space was to be myself. There is no perfect, there is no right, there is only doing.  

More to come. In the meantime, here’s one of my favorite Sleater-Kinney pictures of all time because this is my blog again, so why the fuck not?

Always start in the middle. Everyone has had a version of this. You should always start in the middle of some action. The character is in the middle of something. But we're almost halfway through the book and we are still in character development.
