For people still looking for an optimal ping reducer program, I thought I’ll leave this here.
I got introduced to NoPing by word of mouth, I usually remained skeptical because most ping reducers I have used previously left me dissatisfied (I play from Asia and the games I play have their native servers extremely far away from where I live).
Basically, some before-and-after comparisons:
Aion NA
Before: 400-450ms (average) After: 205-225ms (average)
League of Legends OCE
Before: 275ms After: 160-165ms (average)
Final Fantasy XIV Tonberry (JP)
Before: 86-89ms (average) After: 59-62ms (average)
Aion was amazingly wild for me because the lowest ping I have ever achieved with a ping reducer was a max of 250ms. If I wanted any lower, I was told that I probably have to physically move closer to NA’s servers (which were in Texas). Having played Aion for 8 years now, 200ms is a whole new experience for me, might be even lower for other players who already have optimal ping without the help of a ping reducer.
