I’m glad The Project had a segment on an investigation into Jack’s death. It was done in a surprisingly respectful way.
Seeing his mother’s pain was extremely difficult. Her confrontation with Dylan just showed how willing he is to lie and twist the story to make himself the victim in all this. Her calling him out on that was perfect.
“I wish you were dead”
“I wish I were dead too” yeah okay sure why not.
When the story ended and they cut back to the anchors, there was complete silence. When they finally picked conversation back off, it was slow and somber.
My heart is hurting but I’m extremely glad that the story got out. As they said while it’s too late to save Jack, hopefully his story can help others stuck in similarly abusive relationships.
Fuck these egotistical “masters”. Fuck their social following. Call them out, reach out to their victims, don’t let this happen again.
