#noob luck

My buddy has been trying to get me into magic the gathering for over a year now, and although I own a few hundred cards, I never really made a decent deck. Today I finally decided I want to make one so I brought my friend with me to help. I bought 6 Avacyn (probably spelled that wrong) booster packs to see if I would get anything to build my deck around. I hadn't really decided which kind of deck I wanted to build so i figured I'd let fate decide. Anyways, before I opened the packs he sarcastically says: "If you get Tamiyo then you are building a control deck". I was like okay sounds good (totally ignorant to what Tamiyo and control decks are). As I am opening the third pack I trolled him saying "look i got Tamiyo" and he was like noooooooooooooo and then I looked at the cards and she was actually there staring me in the face. So apparently I got a pretty rare card, and I'm ready to start building a control deck (whatever that means).
