@nonplayercharxcter <3 for a post-despair starter.
THE MUSICIAN stood in an empty room. The walls were BARREN, dead and empty, save the brightly-colored girl even though her AURA was anything but LIVELY.
She didn’t want to hear anymore.
Mioda Ibuki knew her ears were SHARP, honed finely with skill that AWARDED her with the best ability to pick apart noises. But she HATED it, now.
The SCREAMS are clear. She couldn’t remember where they were from, or what happened, but they RUNG in her ears constantly. Day. Night. Day. Night. Endless screaming and begging for MERCY.
When Ibuki heard footsteps, a soft ring against the MEMORIES, she whipped around, a wild reach for ESCAPE.
When she saw it was only Chiaki, her shoulders SAGGED.
“..... uuu...” her throat her. Scars were OBVIOUS against the skin of her throat, of marks that showed when she tried to tear out her own VOCAL CORDS. “.... Ch.... Chia... Chiaki-chan...”
Forcing a SMILE, the musician moved to step next to the other, waving. The tiredness in her eyes are OBVIOUS, with bags underneath hot pink.
With HESITATION, she tried to force out another question.
“... h.... hhh... how... a.... are... y...”
With a PAINFUL wince, her hand flew to her throat, and she bowed her head in APOLOGY.
