For Call the Midwife, obviously.
1.) Trixie!!! The snark. The clothes. The cocktails.
2.) Sister Bernadette - who was so unassuming at first.
3.) Delia. To me, she’s kind of whiny and irksome.
4.) Jenny? I mean I don’t think a lot of people hate Jenny, but I think it’s popular to dislike her somewhat. I never did - I find her very relatable, and probably often a lot like how I would react in her situation.
5.) Okay; nobody, really. But hear me out on this: some episodes, I have less tolerance for Sister Monica Joan/how silly SMJ is written than others. (I know, I’m a terrible person. But sometimes I think they make her too silly, and lose her real depth in some episodes.)
6.) Uh...Tom. Patrick belongs to Shelagh. But I could go for Tom.
7.) Both Shelagh and Trixie, in different ways. Also kind of Pats, Bc she’s strong as hell.
8.) Sister. Freaking. Ursula. But since that’s a given, I’ll say also Valerie for leaving us with no explanation. We love you, Val, but that was mean.
9.) Besides the obvious? Besides my OTP Turnadette baby lovers, I’m going to say two of Trixie’s friendships, actually. I love Trixie and Phyllis helping her navigate single life; and I love Trixie’s genuine affection for and slightly protective instincts over Barbara.
10.) Nothing really in show, but I loathe when fanfic makes Shulienne a romantic instead of maternal relationship.
I Have No Idea What I’m Doing
Hi, I’m Sissi, at least in fandom land. I’ve been lurking on Tumblr without an account for a decade, fangirling mostly Call the Midwife. Lockdown pushed me to finally publishing fanfic (so far on Ao3 and occasionally on FanFic.net) and now apparently I thought trying Tumblr was a good idea, even though I have absolutely no conception of how this works. If you’re a CtM regular, or have read any of my fics, please feel free to follow. I’m your basic Turnadette obsessive, with a special girl crush on all things Shelagh Turner. I am here mostly just because Tumblr seems to have better community than just...commenting back and forth on Ao3.

When pirate day happened I signed up to have my name changed to a more piratey name. Hence moevie it's pronounced mo evie. M is the first letter of my middle name. O is the first letter of my last name. Evie is a nickname for Evelyn which is my first name. Country of origin? USA At what point in your viewing of CtM did you know you were no ordinary fan? When I started writing fanfiction and looked forward to seeing the episodes. When I started on here. Favorite CtM character? I am a Trixie so I love her scenes. Speaking from someone who used to work in a wildlife museum/educational facility/ wildlife hospital I like them. Especially the native California ground squirrels. The scurry across the ground and are very cute. Although they are also a nuisance to horses. They can break their legs. The red fox squrriel native to the east coast and England is also cute. Although annoying and laughs at my dog. They are native now to California and are the sweetest things ever when they are babies. Favorite book(s)? Deeanne Gist and Jane Austen. I know authors. Lol. Outlander is also very fun to read. Cats? Dogs? Turtles? Everything. Although I'm allergic to cats . Kirk or Spock? Kirk. Spock is to logical. Tea: Hot or Iced? Both.
