honestly, yeah, i see many people use ‘gangbang’ to refer to 1 woman & multiple men having sex, and perhaps the meaning of it could be seen as consensual in the community of where kinks are thoroughly explored—but it’s mostly getting used by the general public as the rape of one woman by multiple men. like on news (at least from what i’ve seen in my country), when discussed in lectures etc. i’ve had a professor in my uni do a small research about that (and all other sex terms) and gangbang is viewed as noncon by most, as is the original meaning of it!!! so, it just doesn’t hold a positive meaning at all for most people. best thing i can advice is to avoid using it without a care in the world

unless you know for a fact that your audience knowssssss that you mean it in a consensual way, then ig tag it properly so others outside your space know what they’re going to read or view. but then again - to each their own !

i personally don’t think it should be used and thrown around so easily on this app because of the mostly negative noncon meaning it has 🤷🏽 . && no problemmmm
