Well, I think it depends on how your mom and dad have reacted to queer things so far and how much they know.

If you're worried about their opinions about queer things in general, I would feel them out by talking about general queer issues, media, celebrities, etc. See how they react!

If you're worried about their knowledge of being nonbinary, try having some resources ready for them when you talk to them.

If you're worried about them taking you seriously, try making sure you approach them in a way that is serious- a quiet time, state how important this is to you.

Hey kiddo! Being non binary is entirely and totally valid, and I’m sorry your parents don’t understand that. It’s understandable to be afraid to tell them right now, especially after what they said to you. :( <333

Maybe write them a letter explaining it? That way you can say everything you need to say, you can explain exactly how you feel, and they can have time to read it, process it, and react without you being there as they do all this. It might be easier for all of you, honestly. You could also start by coming out to some friends first, like to people you know will be accepting! That will boost your confidence and give you the love and support you need for when you tell your parents.

I don't think you're being fair to yourself when you say you don't need to be anxious. Coming out is a big moment, and it can be very scary. It's okay to be anxious. Just remember that no matter how people react, you have a right to be you, and your identity is valid <3
