Anytime!! I love being the change I want to see in online spaces. Especially in the alterhuman community there seems to be some raging anti-paraphillia shit going on. I think it’s mostly because beings who aren’t in the para community aren’t aware of what contact stances are. They see paraphile and automatically think of abuse instead of attraction.

Id like to say I’m more RQ-critical/neutral than anti. I’m sure there’s plenty of very nice people and other beings that are radqueers,I just don’t know much about the community other than it’s most infamous parts and offshoots (xenosatanisim, RCTA, pro-noncon abuse and all that) but if anyone wants to inform me I’m 100% open!! I’m sure that the harm isn’t all (or even most) of the community.

To my understanding the radqueer communities kinda entire thing is “live and let live” which seems pretty reasonable to me. I’d say I’m more just plain anti-censorship? I believe everyone has the right to freedom of speech and freedom to identity however they want,regardless of if I support it or not. At the end of the day you are what you are and my opinion is essentially nothing :3

I don't wanna get doxxed so I'm gonna keep this as vague as I can. But the US DOJ found that police department engages in human rights violations (shocker), including using tasers at first provocation; siccing police dogs on anyone deemed a suspect; unnecessarily escalating minor incidents into major ones (especially with mental health calls); sexually assaulting female suspects in their custody; having sex with victims of sex trafficking rings while the cop was supposed to be undercover; and just generally making life worse for anyone who wasn't a cis white man (hey, it's in the report).

The DOJ basically told them to get their shit together, including several layers of harrassment training, better enforcement of discipline for officers who fail to fix their behavior, and creating an actual system for handling civilian complaints.

Most residents want a civilian review board so that the community itself can hold the police accountable. After all, you can't trust the corrupt to correct the corrupt.

And our fucking City Manager (may he reign in piss and shit, and I can legally say that now) said "We don't need a civilian review board. The police have done enough reform." He refuses to move forward with it.

The video I was reacting to was about a story that happened a few years ago at a local university. The Youtuber said that the police gave them all of the info they needed to make a concise review of what happened - and the bodycam footage in the video shows that the police handled the situation very calmly and respectfully. That is a FLUKE, though. After working in the library and seeing how the cops treat the patrons - especially if they are Black, let alone if they even appear to be homeless or drug addicts - I have yet to see a single one of those pigs behave like they know what human beings are.
